This Here am I is Jeremiah s great prophetic response to God s call. But today s story of Jeremiah and the refrain Lord, come to my aid! remind us that there are always two sides to following the call of God. The author of the Letter to the Hebrews knew this, too. He reminded his readers that even weighted down with burdens and sins, we can still persevere by keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, who himself knew the shame and pain of the cross, but saw beyond it to the joy of sitting at the right of the throne of God. Jesus himself gave the disciples a sneak preview of a baptism that would not be as wondrous as the one in the Jordan that inaugurated his ministry, but would be one of fire and anguish. Today s words from scripture may not be terribly soothing, but in their honesty and strength we can acknowledge the difficulties of daily discipleship, and take comfort in the assurance of our own salvation in Christ. Z biurka Ks. Proboszcza Drodzy Przyjaciele! Dzisiaj z wielką radością chcę was poinformować, że od jutra zaczynamy remont dachu na naszym kościele. W tym ważnym czasie proszę was o modlitwę, aby naprawa dachu na kościele przebiegała bez zakłóceń i zakończyła się pomyślnie. Raz jeszcze pragnę wam podziekować za donacje na remont dachu i za wasze gorliwe modlitwy. Jutro (poniedziałek) przeżywamy Uroczystość Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny. Wspólnie z Maryja uwielbiajmy Jezusa w czasie nabożeństw Mszy Świętych. Porządek Mszy Świętych będzie następujący: w języku angielskim o godz. 6:30 rano, 8:30 rano i 5:00 popołudniu. w języku polskim o godz. 7:30 rano, 12 w południe i 6:30 popołudniu. w języku hiszpańskim o godz. 8 wieczorem. W ostatnim tygodniu zgłosiło się kilka osób do pomocy, ale wciąż potrzebujemy wiecej wolontariuszy. I ty możesz być z nami i nam pomóc! Proszę, ofiaruj jedną lub dwie godziny na rzecz karnawału. Niech to będzie twój dar dla koscioła w którym modlisz się co tydzień ze swoją rodziną! Osoby chętne do pomocy przy karnawale prosimy o kontakt z kancelarią lub o kontakt z księżmi. W dalszym ciągu zachęcamy do zamawiania specjalnych dziękczynnych cegiełek do ogródka Matki Bożej i Świętego Józefa. W kancelarii parafialnej i w zakrystii można otrzymać specjalne informacje i broszurki na ten temat! Także i w ten sposób możesz okazać swój szacunek i miłość do członków swojej rodziny: żyjących jak i zmarłych. Serdecznie zachęcamy!
