From the Pastor s Desk Dear Friends, With great joy I would like to inform you that few days ago we began the long awaited renovation of the church Sanctuary; the old carpet will be replaced with marble tiles and new rails will be installed on both sides. In the center - the most important place in the sanctuary (under the cross) workers will prepare a special altar on which the tabernacle will be placed with the Most Holy Sacrament. Let us remember that Jesus should be at the center of our personal life, family life, priestly, religious and the parish life. Please embrace all work related to the renovation with your pious and kind prayers, and ask our Good God for protection and blessing for the upcoming weeks. St. Albert the Great pray for us! Also I would like happily inform you that work on the garden by the St. Albert the Great statue is finished. Because of this beautiful garden we have now, the grounds surrounding our new electronic sign also look nicer. From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank all parishioners who devoted their time, work, and made monetary donations as well as flowers and trees. I embrace all of you with my kind priestly prayers. In the near future a special plaque with the names of all donors will be placed on one of the walls in our church. Renovations in Rogers Hall have also been finished. In the future the walls of the hall will be decorated with pictures and decorative signs. On this occasion I would like to thank the Polonia Club and Fr. Ignacy Posadzy Polish School for their donations toward this renovation (In appreciation of this sponsorship a special plate will made and will be placed in Rogers Hall). Please remember about our Parish Child s Day celebrations on Sunday, June 4th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Let s spend this time together as a one parish family. This day will be a wonderful opportunity to thank all of you for your kindness and support for St. Albert the Great Church. Drodzy Parafianie! Z biurka Ks. Proboszcza Dziś pragnę was z radością poinformować, że kilka dni temu rozpoczęliśmy oczekiwaną od kilku lat renowację naszego prezbiterium w kościele. W miejsce zniszczonego karpetu zostanie zainstalowany piękny granit, zostaną ponownie zainstalowane specjalne poręcze oraz najważniejsze w centrum prezbiterium pod krzyżem zostanie przygotowany specjalny ołtarz na którym zostanie umieszczone tabernakulum z Najświętszym Sakramentem. Pamiętajmy, że Pan Jezus zawsze powinien być w cetrum naszego życia osobistego, rodzinnego, kapłańskiego, zakonnego oraz parafialnego. Bardzo was wszystkich proszę, abyście wszystkie te prace związane z renowacją prezbiterium ogarneli swoją pobożną i życzliwą modlitwą prosząc Dobrego Boga o opiekę i błogosławieństwo na czas trwania tych prac. Święty Albercie Wielki módl się za nami! Z radością również was informuję, że zakończyliśmy prace związane z upiększeniem ogródka wokół figury św. Alberta Wielkiego z boku naszego kościoła. W ten sposób upiększyliśmy także miejsce wokół naszej nowej tablicy informacyjnej. Wszystkim tym, którzy dołożyli swoich starań (donacje, czas, praca, kwiaty, drzewka...) w to dzieło z serca dziękuję i ogarniam was wszystkich swoją życzliwą kapłańską modlitwą. W niedalekiej przyszłości wszyscy donatorzy będą mieć swoją specjalną tabliczkę, która zostanie umieszczona na ścianie naszego kościoła. Również remont naszej sali pod kościołem tzw. Rogers Hall dobiegł do końca. W przyszłości nasza sala pod kościołem zostanie jeszcze upiększona obrazami i specjalnymi napisami. Przy tej okazji raz jeszcze dziękuję Klubowi Polonia oraz Polskiej Szkole im. ks. Ignacego Posadzego za donacje na remont tej sali. Specjalna tabliczka dziękczynna zostanie w przyszłości także dla was tam zainstalowana. Pamiętajcie o naszym parafialnym Dniu Dziecka w niedzielę 4 czerwca od godz. 10 rano do 4 popołudniu. Spędźmy ten czas wspólnie w gronie naszej parafialnej rodziny. Ten dzień jest wspaniałą okazją do tego, aby wam wszystkim podziękować za wszelkie dobro jakie czynicie dla naszego kościoła. Na nadchodzący tydzień życzę wam i zdrowia i szczęścia i błogosławieństwa przez ręce Maryi. Jezu, ufam Tobie Ks. Mariusz W niedzielę 4 czerwca organizujemy przy naszym kościele Parafialny Dzień Dziecka. Wszystko rozpocznie się od godz. 10 rano i trwać będzie do godz. 4 popołudniu. W programie: smaczne jedzenie, rodzinne grilowanie, gry, zabawy i konkursy dla dzieci, malowanie twarzy oraz wiele innych atrakcji i niespodzianek (wszystko za darmo!) Rodzice płacą tylko za piwo, oczywiście mile widziane będą także wolne datki. Prosimy: zarezerwujcie ten dzień dla waszych dzieci, zaproście także dzieci waszych krewnych, znajomych i przyjaciół. SHARE THE HOPE The readings for today s celebration of the Ascension of the Lord once again remind us that as Christians we are people of hope. In the second reading Saint Paul eloquently exhorts the Ephesians to enlighten their hearts so that they will know the hope and glory that come from being people who place their trust in the Lord Jesus. In the story of the Ascension, recounted in the first reading, the Lord Jesus assures the disciples that the Holy Spirit s power will come upon them. Finally, in the Gospel, the Lord lets the disciples know that their mission is to spread the hope of the gospel to all the nations. This wonderful feast keeps our eyes focused on the hope in which we were grounded on the day of our baptism.
