Confirm desired date at the church before making other arrangements. At least one of the engaged persons (or their parents) must be a registered and active parishioner of St. Priscilla. Weddings are not scheduled on Sunday. BAPTISMS: English Baptisms will be held on the second and fourth Sundays of the month at 1:30 PM. WORD OF LIFE MARCH 2014 There is an urgent need to recover a correct perspective on life as a whole. The correct perspective is that of eternity, for which life at every phase is a meaningful preparation. Old age too has a proper role to play in this process of gradual maturing along the path to eternity. And this process of maturing cannot but benefit the larger society of which the elderly person is a part. 4 Page Four March 9, 2014 The Polish Committee for the annual Valentine s Day Dance would like to sincerely thank all the people who helped at and attended the Dance. Everyone who came had a great time and stayed long. Our Dance turned out to be a huge success. We handed Fr. Idzi a clean profit of $8, We would like to thank all who donated whatever they could for our Dance. May God bless you for your generosity. Thank You! We would like to sincerely thank the Filipino Club for their hard work in gathering $368 for the Typhoon Haiyan Foundation that will help to restore the Philippines. May God Bless your generosity! Throughout the entire Lenten season, we will be praying the STATIONS OF THE CROSS every Friday. The Stations of the Cross in English will be held at 6:00 PM, whereas the Stations of the Cross in Polish will be held at 7:00 PM.. We encourage all parishioners to attend these meditative prayers focusing on the suffering and passion of Christ.

This donation was in the amount of $2, As pastor, I would like to sincerely thank this anonymous donor for their support of our Building Repair Fund and of St. Priscilla Parish. With this generous donation, St. Priscilla will continue to prosper in faith. May God Bless you for your generosity! W ostatnim tygodniu otrzymaliśmy ofiarę w wysokości $2, przeznaczoną na Kapitalne Remonty w naszej parafii, która jest darem pewnej rodziny. Jako proboszcz pragnę z całego serca podziękować za tę hojną ofiarę na rzecz naszej parafii. Niech dobry Bóg wynagrodzi hojność ofiarodawcy obfitością swych łask. Fr. Jeszcze raz serdeczne Bóg zapłać! Serdecznie zapraszamy wszystkich parafian do wzięcia udziału w nabożeństwach Wielkiego Postu. W każdy piątek Wielkiego Postu będzie odprawiona Droga Krzyżowa w jęz. polskim o godz. 7:00 wieczorem, a o godz. 6:00 po angielsku. GORZKIE ŻALE w języku polskim będą odprawiane w każdą niedzielę o godz. 5:30 (pół godziny przed wieczorną Mszą świętą). Dear Parents, Religious Education News During the Season of Lent, we bring to mind Jesus 40 days in the desert, where he was tempted by the devil. As a family, you might want to read the account of Jesus temptation in the desert from a children s Bible. Although some Lenten practices are personal, there are many things you can do as a family. You can set up a small Lenten prayer table in your home and gather there for a family blessing each day. You, too, can have a family desert experience. For example, you might designate one night as a silent night. Another night you might set aside as a no-snack night. You might want to plan a very simple and basic family meal, pray for those who will not have enough to eat that day, and then eat in silence.
