Page Two September 9, 2012 Over my last few years as pastor, we have changed our air conditioning maintenance company. Three years ago, we replaced the old boilers on the parish grounds responsible for heating the buildings and got new ones. However, since that time, we have spent a total of around $40,000 repairing our old air conditioning unit, with around $13,000 being spent just this past fiscal year. As pastor, I turn to all of you asking your opinion. Do you feel that we should continue to repair our old unit - which may or may not last through the next year - or should we invest the large sum of money into a new air conditioning unit? Please think about this before you reply. You may mark your choice below with an X in one of the boxes and cut off the bottom portion of this page and toss it into the Sunday collection. I hope to come to a decision before September 15th so that we can get going on this project - one way or the other. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration in this matter and I hope your opinions help me come to the decision. Problem ten przedstawiam wam do przemyślenia i przekazania mi waszej sugestii w poniżej zamieszczonej formie. St. Priscilla Parish should keep the current unit and upkeep maintenance and repairs on it. Parafia św. Pryscylli powinna pozostać przy obecnym systemie chłodzenia i sukcesywnie naprawiać go. Parish Envelope Number: Numer Koperty Parafialnej: St. Priscilla Parish should replace the existing air conditioning unit with a completely new unit. Parafia św. Pryscylli powinna wymienić obecny system chłodzenia na nowy. Parish Envelope Number: Numer Koperty Parafialnej:

Those whom the community has designated to serve as catechists are aclled forth to be commissioned for their ministry. Catechetical Sunday is a wonderful opportunity to honor the people of our Parish Community who bring the Church s teachings to our children. The following people have volunteered to teach in our program: ANTOINETTE SANDERS - Grade 1 SISTER AGNES FRANCIS JUNG - Grade 2 YOLANDA GOMEZ - Grades 3 & 4 JOANNA RYDZEWSKI - Grade 5 MAGDALENA KLESZCZ - Grade 6 ROMAN HARMATA - Junior High MICHELLE ADAMOWSKI - Junior High RICK HERNANDEZ - High School Catechetical Sunday gives us all a wonderful opportunity to reflect upon the role that each person plays in handing on the faith and being a witness to the Gospel. It provides an opportunity for all to rededicate themselves to this mission as a community of faith. Religious Education classes started on Saturday, September 8th. We are still accepting students and will do so until the end of September. If you have not yet registered, there is still time to do so. Call the Religious Ed Office at (773) 685-3785 for further information. THANK YOU! During the weekend of August 12th, we had a guest priest with us, Rev. Thomas O Malley.
