Luger COMMUNITY INFORMATION Sacrificial Giving for the Week of March 12, 2017 $4,211,00 ECONOMIC NEWS - English We want to inform you all about what we have accomplished and what we currently are doing in the parish: We finished repairs to the heating system in the Parish Hall. The cost: $4550. In the last week we painted the banquet hall also in the Parish Center. The cost of the painting: $1800. We continue with the renovation of the heating system in the Rectory. We are preparing a project for the renovation of the second sacristy where the room will be adopted for families with children. We will collect funds for this project. Every second collection will be taken for this project. We ask for your support so that our children and parishioners will feel comfortable. WE SEEK A SPONSOR We seek a sponsor to donate the processional cross to our church. We also seek a sponsor for the lector's pulpit. The project is already implemented. Contact Fr. Peter. The member states had defeated most of their enemies in battle. But they could not agree on how to divide the spoils. They were quarreling too over whether or not to include Fribourg and Soleure in the Federation. Counsel was sought from a sixty-four year old hermit who lived in a tiny cell alongside a chapel in the village of Ranft, Nicholas von Flue. Though he could neither read nor write he had come to be regarded as the wiser person in Switzerland. On the saint s advice the delegates of the contending parties hammered out the famous Comprimise of Stans, which saved the peace and unity of the land. Nicholas had been born on a rich plain known as the Flueli, close by Sachseln in Unterwalden. A successful farmer, he did military service in the war with Zurich, and fought again for his canton as a captain fourteen years later. He married a religious woman named Dorothea Wissling, who bore him ten children. Nicholas retired to live as a hermit. For nineteen years he would pray and meditate for over half the night and day, reserving the afternoons for the countless men and women who flocked for his counsel.

It is a process that continues through one s life and ideally should reflect in one s daily life. You can begin your confession by making the Sign of the Cross and greeting the priest: "Bless me, Father, for I have sinned." The priest gives you a blessing. One then continues with the time since one's last confession: "My last good confession was... (approximately how many weeks, months or years)." Say the sins that you remember. Start with the one that is most difficult to say; after this it will be easier to mention the rest. If you received general absolution, tell this to the priest and mention the sins forgiven then. If you do not know how to confess, or you feel uneasy or ashamed, simply ask the priest to assist you. Be assured that he will help you to make a good confession. Simply answer his questions without hiding anything out of shame or fear. Place your trust in God: he is your merciful Father and wants to forgive you. If you do not remember any serious sins, be sure to confess at least some of your venial sins, adding at the end: "I am sorry for these and all the sins of my past life, especially for..." The priest will assign you some penance and give you some advice to help you to be a better Christian. Listen to the words of absolution attentively. At the end answer: "Amen." Be willing to do the penance as soon as possible. This penance will diminish the temporal punishment due to sins already forgiven. Spowiedź Sakrament Pokuty W imię Ojca i Syna i Ducha Świętego. Jeżeli nie pamiętasz żadnych poważnych grzechów, pamiętaj aby wyznać przynajmniej kilka twoich grzechów powszednich, dodając na końcu: "Więcej grzechów nie pamiętam, za wszystkie serdecznie żałuję i proszę Cię Ojcze duchowny o rozgrzeszenie. Duchowny wyznaczy tobie jakąś pokutę i da tobie jakąś radę by pomóc tobie być lepszym katolikiem. Słuchaj słów rozgrzeszenia uważnie. Na zakończenie odpowiadasz: "Amen." Pokutę należy wypełnić możliwie najszybciej.
