Catholic Charities Collection On Mother's Day Help to Bear the Cross Margaret, 85, is confined to a wheelchair and cannot care for herself. Her husband, Norris, provides loving care but is also elderly. The couple lives on a very modest income and struggles to meet expenses. They need help with personal care and housekeeping to stay safely in their home. A Catholic Charities homemaker provides reliable and compassionate help to the couple. "I thank God for our homemaker because she is careful and considerate," Margaret says. "I couldn't pay anyone to help us," adds Norris. Without Catholic Charities, this couple would likely have to leave their home. 3 From the Pastors Desk... The Solemnity of the Resurrection of Our Lord is the highest of all holy days. This is the basis of our faith. Because of it, we have a certitude of hope in our own resurrection. It confirms that Jesus is the Son of God and that everything He said is true. It confirms the fact that He loves us with perfect love a love that will neither die nor diminish. We can rely on this love and on his teaching.. The Resurrection inspires us to share the faith. We know that believing Jesus and living his words is the guarantee of eternal life for us. Naturally, we want the same gift for others. We want them to know the love of God and the wonderful truths He has revealed to us. Hopefully, we are finding ways to bring Our Lord to those who have fallen away from the faith and to those who have not yet been acquainted with it. We might invite someone to Church, encourage them to go to Confession, suggest that they pray.. Above all, let us use the most powerful means to share our faith: prayer for those we know and for the world. Fr. Tony Ksiądz Jan Twardowski pisał: Ile to razy budzimy się niechętni, niewyspani, od razu w kiepskim humorze, od razu do niczego i patrzymy na zegarek z gniewem.. W niedzielny poranek, w dniu Zmartwychwstania Pańskiego, kobiety wcześnie wybiegły do miasta i spotkały się z Panem Jezusem na samym progu dnia. Zapomniały o swoich kłopotach, swoim niewyspaniu, o swoim zmęczeniu.. Myślę, że nasza poranna modlitwa ma być takim biegiem w kierunku Pana Jezusa.. Warto zastanowić się, co robimy z modlitwy, która ma być powitaniem Jezusa, powiedzeniem Mu: Dzień dobry!. I to nie tylko na Wielkanoc, kiedy baranek wielkanocny macha na wiwat chorągiewką, ale i wtedy, kiedy przyjdą szare dni. Mamy spotykać się z Jezusem na samym brzegu dnia.. Ks. Quizas saben que como parroco, en alguna manera tengo responsibilidad ante Dios por la salvacion de toda persona en mi parroquia. Lei un cuento de un parroco que tomo muy en serio esa responsabilidad. Para buscar las ovejas perdidas, aun iba a las cantinas. Cuando el sacerdote entro una cantina, encontro a tres hombres. Al primero le pregunto, "Quieres ir al cielo?" El hombre dijo que si. El sacerdote le dijo, "Ponte por aca.". Le pregunto igual al segundo. El hombre dijo que, si, querria ir al cielo, y el sacerdote le dijo ponerse por aca. Al tercerco le pregunto, "Y, tu, quieres ir al cielo?" El hombre dijo, "no." El sacerdote le dijo, "Como? Cuando mueres, no quieres ir al cielo?" El hombre dijo, "Pues, si, cuando me muero. Pero pensaba que estabas formando un grupo para ir ahora mismo!" Pues, hemanos, al celebrar Pascua 2011,quiero que ustedes sepan que estoy formando un grupo para ir al cielo - ahora mismo. Y quiero que ustedes sean parte de ese grupo. La vida eterna comienza ahora.. Hoy celebramos la Resurreccion de Jesus - desde la tumba. Jesus nos dice que la restauracion de nuestros cuerpos fisicos no es solamente un sueno distante. No, Jesus dice, "Yo soy la resurreccion y la vida." Y aã±ade, "Nadie viene al Padre sino por mi." Padre Antonio

4 Reflections from Fr. Emil CHRIST JESUS The entire mission of the Son and the Holy Spirit, in the fullness of time, is contained in this; that the Son is the one anointed by the Father's Spirit since his Incarnation - Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah. Everything in the second chapter of the Creed is to be read in the light. Christ's whole work is in fact a joint mission of the Son and the Holy Spirit. Here, we shall mention only what has to do with Jesus' promise of the Holy Spirit and the gift of him by the glorified Lord. Jesus does not reveal the Holy Spirit fully, until he himself has been glorified through his Death and Resurrection. Nevertheless, little by little he alludes to him even in his teaching of the multitudes, as when he reveals that his own flesh will be food for the life of the world. He also alludes to the Spirit in speaking to Nicodemus, to the Samaritan woman, and to those who take part in the feast of Tabernacles. To his disciples he speaks openly of the Spirit in connection with prayer and with the witness they will have to bear. Fr. Emil CHRYSTUS JEZUS Całe posłanie Syna i Ducha Świętego w pełni czasu jest zawarte w fakcie, że Syn od chwili Wcielenia jest namaszczony Duchem Ojca; Jezus jest Chrystusem Mesjaszem. W tym świetle należy czytać rozdział drugi Symbolu wiary. Całe dzieło Chrystusa jest wspólnym posłaniem Syna i Ducha Świętego. W tym miejscu zostanie omówione tylko to co dotyczy obietnicy Ducha Świętego i danej przez Jezusa i Jego daru udzielonego przez uwielbionego Pana. Jezus nie objawia w pełni Ducha Świętego, dopóki sam nie zostanie uwielbiony przez swoją Śmierć i swoje Zmartwychwstanie. Powoli jednak wskazuje na Niego, nauczając tłumy, gdy objawia, że Jego Ciało będzie pokarmem na życie wieczne. Wskazuje Go Nikodemowi, Samarytance i uczestnikom Święta Namiotów. Swoim uczniom mówi otwarcie o Duchu Świętym w związku z modlitwą i świadectwem, które powinni dawać. Ks. Emil CRISTO JESUS Toda la mision del Hijo y del Espiritu Santo en la plenitud de los tiempos se resume en que el Hijo es el Ungido del Padre desde su Encarnacion; Jesus est Cristo, el Mesias. Todo el segundo capitulo del Simbolo de la fe hay que leerlo a la luz de esto. Toda la obra de Cristo es mision conjunta del Hijo y del Espiritu Santo. Aqui se mencionara solamente lo que se refiere a la promesa del Espiritu Santo hecha por Jesus y su don realizado por el Seńor glorificado. Jesus no revela plenamente el Espiritu Santo hasta que el mismo no ha sido glorificado por su Muerte y su Resureccion. Sin embargo, lo sugiere poco a poco, incluso en su enseńanza a la muchadumbre, cuando revela que su Carne sera alimento para la vida del mundo. Lo sugiere tambien a Nicodemo, a la Samaritana y a los que participan en la fiesta de los Tabernaculos. A sus discipulos les habla de el abiertamente a proposito de la oracion y del testimonio que tendran que dar. Padre Emilio
