4 Reflections from Fr. Emil. THE COMMUNION OF THE CHURCH OF HEAVEN AND EARTH The three states of the Church. "When the Lord comes in glory, and all his angels with him, death will be no more and all things will be subject to him. But at the present time some of his disciples are pilgrims on earth. Others have died and are being purified, while still others are in glory, contemplating in full light, God himself triune and one, exactly as he is". Council of Florence. All of us, however, in varying degrees and in diferent ways share in the same charity towerds God and our neighbours and we all sing the one hymn of glory to our God. All indeed who are of Christ and who have his Spirit form one Church and in Christ cleave together. So it is that the union of the wayfarers with the brethren who sleep in the peace of Christ is no way interrupted, but on the contrary, according to the constant faith of the Church, this union is reinforced by an exchange of spiritual goods. Dopóki Pan nie przyjdzie w majestacie swoim, a wraz z Nim wszyscy aniołowie, dopóki po zniszczeniu śmierci wszystko nie zostanie Mu poddane, jedni spośród Jego uczniów pielgrzymują na ziemi, inni, dokonawszy żywota, poddają się oczyszczeniu, jeszcze inni zażywają chwały, widząc wyrażnie samego Boga troistego i jedynego, jako jest. Wszyscy jednak, w różnym stopniu i w rozmaity sposób, złączeni jesteśmy wzajemnie w tej samej miłości Boga i bliżniego i ten sam hymn chwały śpiewamy Bogu naszemu. Wszyscy bowiem, którzy należą do Chrystusa, mając Jego Ducha, zrastają się w jeden Kościół i zespalają się wzajemnie ze sobą w Chrystusie. Łączność pielgrzymów z braćmi, którzy zasnęli w pokoju Chrystusowym, bynajmniej nie ustaje, przeciwnie, według niuestannej wiary Kościoła umacnia się jeszcze dzięki wzajemnemu udzielaniu sobie dóbr duchowych. Hasta que el Seńor venga en su esplendor con todos sus angeles y, destruida la muerte, tenga sometido todo, sus discipulos unos peregrinan en la tierra, otros, ya difuntos, se purifican, mientras otros estan glorificados, contemplando claramente a Dios mismo, uno y trino, tal cual es. Todos, sin embargo, aunque en grado y modo diversos, participamos en el mismo amor a Dios y al projimo y cantamos el mismo himno de alabanza a nuestro Dios. En efecto, todos los que son de Cristo, que tienen su Espiritu, forman una misma Iglesia y estan unidos entre si en El. La union de los miembros de la Iglesia peregrina con los hermanos que durmieron en la paz de Cristo de ninguna manera se interumpe. 5 The second trimester is moving along at a tremendous pace and the range of activities taking place each week shows how much talent our staff and students have. Our students have led prayer services, competed in numerous sports leagues, have participated in service projects, entered many art and writing contests, and have begun rehearsals for our Christmas production, to name a few. This trimester will also be an exciting one for curriculum and instruction. We were selected to be part of an Early Intervention Math study through St. Xavier University and will receive much needed math supplies, the support of a Math coach, and workshops for the teachers. Mrs. Kielbasa was chosen to be a member of the Office of Catholic School s team working on a new hands-on science curriculum. Our teachers will have a variety of strategies to make learning come alive for all our students. Finally, this wonderful holiday of Thanksgiving affords me an opportunity to thank you, the families and parishioners of St. Bruno for your continued support. Uczniowie w każdym tygodniu są bardzo aktywni w różnych zajęciach, a to wskazuje jak bardzo są utalentowani zarówno uczniowie jak i nauczyciele. Wśród różnych zajęć uczniowie mają serwis modlitewny, biorą udział w różnych zespołach sportowych, również partycypują w różnych projektach, podejmują liczne dzieła artystyczne i przygotowują już jasełka na Boże Narodzenie. Ten semestr również będzie bardzo bogaty w program. Jesteśmy wybrani, aby być uczestnikami we współzawodnictwie programu matematycznego poprzez Uniwersytet St Xaviera. Potrzebujemy więc więcej materiału matematycznego oraz treningu matematycznego wraz z warsztatami matematycznymi. Pani Kielbasa została wybrana, aby być członkiem Zespołu Katolickich Szkół. Nasi Nauczyciele będą mieli wiele okazji aby poznać strategię nauczania, aby ta edukacja była bardziej ożywiona dla uczniów. Na koniec pozwólcie, że z tej okazji Swięta Dziękczynienia podziękuję wszystkim Rodzicom oraz Parafianom św Brunona za Wasz wkład w dzieło Szkoły. Wasza szlachetność i oddanie ogromnie sobie cenimy. Z podziękowaniem, Katrina McDermott, Dyrektorka El segundo trimestre se está moviendo a un ritmo tremendo y la gama de actividades occuriendo cada semana muestra la cantidad de talento que nuestro personal y los estudiantes tienen. Nuestros estudiantes han dirigido los servicios de oración, compitido en numeras ligas deportivas, han participado en proyectos de servicio, entrado de arte y concursos de escritura, y han comenzado los ensayos para nuestra producción de Navidad, por nombrar algunos. Este trimestre también será muy emocionante para el currículo y la instrucción. Fuimos seleccionados para formar parte de un estudio de intervención a través de Matemáticas de la Universidad de San Xavier y recibiremos muy necesarios suministros de matemáticas, con el apoyo de un entrenador de matemáticas, y talleres para los profesores. La Sra. Kielbasa fue elegido para ser miembro de la Oficina del equipo de la Escuela Católica, y está trabajando en un nuevo manos -en el currículo de ciencias. Nuestros profesores tienen una variedad de estrategias para hacer que el aprendizaje cobre vida para todos nuestros estudiantes. Por último, esta fiesta maravillosa de Acción de Gracias me da la oportunidad de darle las gracias a las familias y los feligreses de San Bruno por su apoyo continuo.
