Pawła, pragnę bardzo serdecznie podziękować wam za okazaną nam życzliwość, życzenia i modlitwę z okazji obchodzonych przez nas rocznic naszych święceń kapłańskich. Otrzymaliśmy od was w tym dniu wiele ciepłych i serdecznych słów wdzięczności i wsparcia. Dziękuję za to, że pamiętacie i modlicie się za waszych kapłanów. Bardzo dziękuje także wszystkim, którzy pomogli nam w organizacji parafialnego pikniku. Było was tak wielu, że nie sposób nawet wszystkich wymienić z nazwiska, by nie popełnić grzechu pominięcia kogokolwiek. Bóg wie, kto i jak okazał pomoc i z całą pewnością wynagrodzi wam poniesiony trud. Dziś podczas wszystkich mszy świętych modlimy się za tych, którzy pomogli w pikniku: naszą radę parafialną, motocyklistów z grupy Anders oraz przyjaciół, dziękując za to, że nie jest wam obojętny los naszej parafii. Wiem, jak ciężko pracowaliście, by ten piknik mógł się odbyć. Niech wam Bóg obficie za to błogosławi! Dochód z pikniku wniósł $ 3.204. Zostanie on w całości spożytkowany na potrzeby naszej parafii. Po woli dobiega końca remont naszego konwentu. Obecnie wymieniamy rury w konwencie. Pomieszczenia już zostały pomalowane. Pozostanie jeszcze wymiana wykładziny, zakup łóżek i już będziemy mogli ruszyć z rekolekcjami. Bardzo dziękuję wszystkim, którzy pomogli w remoncie konwentu i proszę o gotowość dalszej pomocy. Wszystko na większą Chwałę Boga i ku zbawieniu dusz! Dear parishioners and friends, On behalf of Fr. Damian and Fr. Pawel, I would like to thank all of you for your kind wishes and prayers on the anniversary of our ordination. We had received many warm and kind words of appreciation and support. Thank you that you remembered and prayed for your priests! I also would like to thank all, who helped with our annual parish picnic. So many of you were involved, that it is even impossible to mention everyone by name. God knows those who helped and will certainly reward your effort and dedication to the good of our parish. Today during all masses we pray for those who helped: our parish council, bikers from the Anders group and all our friends who are not indifferent to the wellbeing of our parish. I know how hard you worked. May God bless you for that. The total profit amounts to $3.204. Slowly we are finishing the restoration of our convent. Right now we work on changing the pipes. Rooms upstairs have already been painted. All that needs to be done yet is to change carpet, buy new beds and we will be able to start off with our retreats. Pawel Komperda is Associate Pastor at Incarnation Parish in Palos Heights. He was ordained for the Archdiocese of Chicago in 2006, and served as Associate Pastor of Prince of Peace and St. Thecla parishes. Cicero Ave. office). 1) We are looking for a new volunteer on Saturdays to assist our counselors at our Des Plaines office. 2) We are always looking for bi-lingual volunteers who are conversational in Spanish to help in special areas, particularly Tuesday or Wednesday mornings. 3) We are looking for warm self-starter volunteers with open availability to learn greeting and reception roles. 4) We have a weekday opportunity to clean, tag, and box bottles for our Spare Change Campaigns. This project is perfect for two friends or up to 6 people to help on, and is ideal for student service hours.
