Weddings are not scheduled on Sunday. BAPTISMS: English Baptisms will be held on the second and fourth Sundays of the month at 1:30 PM. Polish Baptisms will be held on the first and third Sundays of the month at 1:30 PM. Attendance at Baptismal Preparation class is mandatory. Register by calling the Rectory. 2 Page Two October 12, 2014 Confirmation Inscription Mass October 11, 2014 During today s liturgy, twenty-nine students are committing themselves to prepare and study for the sacrament of Confirmation. These young men and women are promising to study their faith more diligently, receive the sacrements more frequently, and to do service in the community. They will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on February 21, Please remember them in your prayers. The following students are part of our Confirmation Program. This year we are invited to reach out and help build the Church in Mongolia, the world s youngest Catholic Church, as well as local churches throughout the Missions, in the most remote areas across our world. Through the work of these churches, and their witness to Christ, the poor receive practical help and experience God s love and mercy, His hope and peace. Please keep the Missions in your daily prayers. Please come prepared next weekend to give generously in the collection for the Society for the Propagation of the Faith. 4 Page Four October 12, 2014 Catholic Women s Club Oktoberfest We would like to sincerely thank the ladies of the C.W.C. for their hard work in organizing this year s Oktoberfest which took place in McGowan Hall on September 27, This was a great opportunity to get to know our fellow parishioners. Idzi blessed our parishioners pets. This celebration takes place every year by the Grotto. Music will be provided by the Gwiazda Band. The ticket price is $15. Food and drinks are not included in the price. We hope to see you all there! Anyone who is seriously sick and has not been recently anointed during the last six months. 2. Anyone whose physical condition has worsened since their last anointing, no matter how recently. 3. Anyone preparing for surgery in the near future. 4. Anyone suffering from chronic (continuing) ailments, that is arthritis, diabetes, etc. 5. Anyone who is growing older and feeling the weakening effect of growing older (especially senior citizens). If you have a neighbor or friend who would like to participate, please pass on this article. This Mass will fulfill your Sunday obligation.
