2 Fr. Zygmunt Ostrowski, SChr was born in Wolyn, Poland, on May 2, That summer, he and his family were transported to a Nazi camp in Germany. In 1945, when World War II came to an end, his family settled in Stargard Szczecinski. There, he completed his grammar school education and later attended a construction technical school in Szczecin. In 1962, Fr. Ostrowski joined the Society of Christ seminary in Poznan, Poland, which serves Polish communities abroad. He was ordained a priest on May 24, 1969 in St. John the Baptist Church in Stargard Szczecinski. Following his ordination, he was nominated to serve as prefect in his seminary in Poznan, and later became the associate pastor in Goleniow. Since September 1974, Fr. Ostrowski has worked in pastoral missions in the Society of Christʹs the North American province, including parishes throughout the United States (Providence, RI; Milwaukee, WI; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; Sterling Heights, MI; Washington DC; Chicago, IL) and Canada (Guelph and Barrie in Ontario). In 2005, while on vacation in Poland, Fr. Ostrowski was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) which inhibited his return to work as a parish priest. Towards the end of his year-long treatment and rehabilitation from the disease, he began to ponder the idea of writing this book. In September 2006, Fr. Ostrowski returned to the United States and was nominated Superior of the Home for retired Society of Christ priests in Sterling Heights, MI. There, shortly afterwards, based on his experiences as a pastor and collected materials, he began to write his reflections about engagement and sacramental marriage. In 2007, he completed his first book and was named provincial treasurer of the Society of Christ in North America and moved to Lombard, IL, where he wrote Mój Tydzień Modlitwy (My Week of Prayer), Różaniec wczoraj i dziś (My Rosary yesterday and today) and this year Droga Krzyżowa wczoraj i dziś - ready for printing (The Station of the Cross yesterday and today) now is translating in Canada. From July 1, 2019 is serving at St. Ladislaus parish in Chicago. Ks. Zygmunt Ostrowski urodził się na Wołyniu 2 maja 1943 r. Uniknął rzezi wołyńskiej, bo został wywieziony z rodziną do obozu w Niemczech, a po wyzwoleniu w 1945 r., zamieszkał w Stargardzie Szczecińskim. Tam ukończył szkołę podstawową, a później w Szczecinie technikum budowlane. W 14 sierpnia 1962 r. rozpoczął aspirandat, a 8 września nowicjat w Towarzystwie Chrystusowym dla Polonii Zagranicznej w Ziębicach. Studia odbył w latach w Poznaniu, a święcenia kapłańskie przyjął 24 maja 1969 r. w Stargardzie Szczecińskim z rąk sługi Bożego bp. Wilhelma Pluty, ordynariusza diecezji gorzowskiej. Po święceniach był prefektem w Seminarium Zagranicznym w Poznaniu, a w latach wikariuszem w Goleniowie (woj. szczecińskie). Od 8 września 1974 r. pracował jako wikariusz w prowincji w Ameryce Północnej Towarzystwa Chrystusowego w USA i Kanadzie: Providence (RI), Los Angeles (CA) i Miami (FL), a od 17 września 1983 jako proboszcz w Sterling Heights (MI), Waszyngton (DC) oraz w Ontario, Kanada w Guelph i Barrie (ON), gdzie od 22 września 2001 r. organizował parafię kanadyjskopolską Holy Spirit. W sierpniu 2005 r. - pod koniec urlopu w Ojczyźnie - zachorował na Guilllaine-Barre Syndrom (GBS) i nie wrócił do Barrie. Pod koniec rocznego leczenia i rehabilitacji w Polsce postanowił napisać książkę o małżeństwie. We wrześniu 2006 r. wrócił do USA i został mianowany przełożonym Domu Seniora Księży Chrystusowców w Sterling Heights, gdzie napisał refleksje o narzeczeństwie i małżeństwie sakramentalnym pt. Ślubuję Ci, a przed i po (cztery wydania). W 2007 r. został mianowany Ekonomem Prowincji i przeniósł się do Lombard, IL Tutaj napisał Mój Tydzień modlitwy, Różaniec wczoraj i dziś. Droga Krzyżowa wczoraj i dziś jest gotowa do druku. Te książki zostały wydane w języku angielskim. Od 1 lipca służy w parafii św. Włądysława w Chicago.

Krzysztof Olejnik SChr was born on January 5th, 1973 in Wrzesnia, Poland. He joined The Society of Christ Fathers on 20th of August He was ordinated on May 22nd 2001 in Poznan, Poland. We wish to extand our best wishes and prayers for God s guidance and grace in the fulfilment of this important mission. XIII Kapituła Generalna wybrała ks.
