From the Pastor s Desk... We are honored and grateful for the way God has blessed St. Francis Borgia Parish. Our parish is here today because of the sacrifice of those who came before us. We thank them and honor them by preserving and enriching the most beautiful treasure that is our church. Since my arrival to St. Francis Borgia four years ago, I have been trying to serve the needs of our Parish and our Catholic School. Even though the needs are great, I feel blessed because I am among people of great faith and great love for their church. As you know, one of the greatest and immediate needs and challenges was the renovation of our church roof, floor, and lights. To get the necessary funds to do it, we joined the Archdiocese Campaign To Teach Who Christ Is and using the funds collected by our parish during the campaign we put the new roof on our church last year and recently started the renovation of the floor. Now we have to finish the renovation of the sanctuary and the lights. The proposal for the renovation of the sanctuary was prepared, presented, and approved before I came to the parish. It is now time to do it so we can finish installing the new tiles up to the altar. Because we had so many capital and long - term campaigns before, this time we are asking our parishioners for a one time or over the next few months donation for the renovation of our sanctuary. For your donations, please use the envelopes from the back of the church or if you are a parishioner, we will send them to you. We will collect the envelopes on the weekend of November 7th and 8th and the following weekends at all the Masses during the second collection. Last week I got a check for $100 from one of our families with a note: We declare $100 monthly for the renovation of the Sanctuary until the work is completed. If we get the support like that from every family, we will be able to raise the necessary funds to finish the renovation of our church. Thank you in advance for your generosity to the church we love so much. I entrust the future of our church and the success of our renovation to St. Francis Borgia, Padre Pio, and St. John Paul II. Keeping you in my prayers, Fr. Richard Milek

Rummage Sale Results Through the generous donations of many people and with the help of our wonderful volunteers we were able to help hundreds of families receive great values on clothes and household items. The remaining items were donated to the Epilepsy Foundation and the Second Chance Clothing Foundation where further good will come from them. The proceeds of $6,246 were donated to our parish. Thank you to all those people involved in the rummage sale. We would not have been able to do all this good without you. We will be sponsoring another rummage sale after Easter. A special thank you to D'Agostino's Pizza and Pub for donating delicious lunches to our volunteers. Z Biurka Księdza Proboszcza... W czasie mojego czteroletniego pobytu w parafii Św. To prawdziwe błogosławieństwo służyć ludziom głębokiej wiary i miłości do Boga i Kościoła. Janowi Pawłowi II i Wam Kochani Bracia i Siostry w Chrystusie Panu. Z pamięcią w modlitwie. - Ks. W niedzielę, 1 listopada cofamy zegarki o godzinę do tyłu.
