TEACHING RESULTS AND THE METHODS OF ASSESSING TEACHING RESULTS Modue target The aim of the modue is to famiiarise students with the fundamentas of theory, design, and technoogy of piston IC engines. Knowedge of the basics and current state of knowedge as regards piston IC engines in indispensabe to appy rationa methods of designing as we as expoiting principes in transport, construction and road machines (together with various technoogica devices). Main attention is drawn to the anaysis of thermodynamic work cyces of piston IC engines (the foowing aspects are aso taken into consideration: the properties of a working factor reaising work cyces; the processes of creating a combustibe mixture and toxic fumes). The ectures additionay cover the fundamentas of designing and manufacturing technoogy as regards basic units and motor construction nodes.
