2 TEACHING RESULTS AND THE METHODS OF ASSESSING TEACHING RESULTS Module target The aim of the module is to acquire knowledge on: subtractive manufacturing, the technologies of machine design, technological processes design, machine tools (together with technological equipment for subtractive manufacturing, automation and computerization of production processes. Other aims include the following: familiarising students with machining, abrasive machining, and electroerosive machining; familiarising students with technological possibilities and the application of conventional machine tools; acquiring practical skills as regards subtractive manufacturing as well as the construction of the selected technological machines.
