2 TEACHING RESULTS AND THE METHODS OF ASSESSING TEACHING RESULTS Module target The aim of the module is to familiarise students with theoretical and empirical knowledge on conditions and premises of the state economic policy, showing mechanisms for a state interventions in a country economy as well as providing knowledge that seems indispensable in professional career. A student has basic knowledge on institutions creating a county s economic policy, legal status of these institutions, goals of economic policy, and the sources of financing economic programmes. A student knows determinants, mechanisms, and instruments of a state economic policy implementation. A student observes processes and changes in economy using various sources of data acquiring as refers to implementation of the state economic policy. In addition, a student is able to use his knowledge about the aims and instruments of economic policy in his professional life. A student is able to describe the causes of economic phenomena, such as inflation and unemployment as well as suggest effective mechanisms of the state intervention in economy in this scope. A student understands the mechanisms of the state intervention in economy and uses the acquired knowledge to analyse such socio-economic phenomena, as unemployment, and inflation. A student understands the need of life-long learning on the state intervention in economy, particularly in the context of changing premises and instruments of economic policy.
