SCHOOL NEWS... Chicago s Safe Route Ambassadors visited the 2nd and 5th - grade classrooms at SFB on November 13 and November 15 to conduct a safety presentation and follow-up workshop activity. The Chicago Department of Transportation and Illinois Department of Transportation sponsor these engaging in-class presentations to promote safe biking and walking. nd The 2 graders participated in pedestrian safety skills and street crossing. The 5th graders received practical skills-based bicycle traffic safety training. Thank you to our Safe Route Ambassadors for providing these resources to our communities.
