Some will also be posted here throughout the Easter Season which ends on May 27th. Memories of our parish pilgrimage. It seems like only last year that a group of us went over to Poland to visit the holy places associated with Blessed John Paul II...yet that was back in 2007. We came back with the icon of him and St.Stanislaus. That was a great week after Easter for all of us having visited so many important holy places in and around Krakow as well as having been privy to some off limits to most pilgrims and tourists. Thanks to our connections like Fr. Placyd and Fr. Pyro Norbert as well as Rev. Dr. Koprowski and iconographer Mado Kucharska. We had many great experiences ranging from Masses at Wawel cathedral, the Church of Outr Lady, the Shrine at Czestochowa, the salt mines of Wieliczka and others. But this Sunday we will all recall the time we spent at Lagiewniki, at the Shrine of Divine Mercy. At three o clock that afternoon while all the pilgrims prayed the devotion of Divine Mercy there we stood, some inside the chapel, others on the front steps, joining with the thousands present invoking God s mercy on us all as well as all of our parishioners back in Cleveland. This time we will pray together back here in Cleveland...and remember those who have since died and have experienced God s mercy in a new way. David Krakowski
Wybrane słowa Pana Jezusa do św. Siostry Faustyny Jedna godzina rozważania mojej bolesnej męki większą zasługę ma aniżeli cały rok biczowania się aż do krwi. [Bóg przyobiecał wielką łaskę] szczególnie tobie i wszystkim, którzy głosić będą o tym wielkim miłosierdziu moim. Ja sam bronić ich będę w godzinę śmierci, jako swej chwały, i chociażby grzechy dusz czarne były jak noc, kiedy grzesznik zwraca się do miłosierdzia mojego, oddaje mi największą chwałę i jest zaszczytem męki mojej. Kiedy dusza wysławia moją dobroć, wtenczas szatan drży przed nią i ucieka na samo dno piekła. Duszom, które uciekać się będą do mojego miłosierdzia, i duszom, które wysławiać i głosić będą innym o moim wielkim miłosierdziu, w godzinę śmierci postąpię z nimi według nieskończonego miłosierdzia mojego. Wspomnijcie na mękę moją i jeżeli nie wierzycie słowom moim, wierzcie przynajmniej ranom moim. Wszelka dusza wierząca i ufająca miłosierdziu mojemu dostąpi go. Modlitwa ta jest na uśmierzenie gniewu mojego, odmawiać ją będziesz przez dziewięć dni na zwykłej cząstce różańca w sposób następujący: najpierw, odmówisz jedno "Ojcze nasz" i "Zdrowaś Maryjo", i "Wierzę w Boga", następnie na paciorkach "Ojcze nasz" mówić będziesz następujące słowa: "Ojcze Przedwieczny, ofiaruję Ci Ciało i Krew, Duszę i Bóstwo najmilszego Syna Twojego, a Pana naszego Jezusa Chrystusa, na przebłaganie za grzechy nasze i świata całego"; na paciorkach "Zdrowaś Maryjo" będziesz odmawiać następujące słowa: "Dla Jego bolesnej męki miej miłosierdzie dla nas i świata całego". Na zakończenie odmówisz trzykrotnie te słowa: "Święty Boże, Święty Mocny, Święty Nieśmiertelny, zmiłuj się nad nami i nad całym światem". O, gdyby dusze chciały słuchać głosu mego, kiedy przemawiam w głębi ich serca, w krótkim czasie doszłyby do szczytu świętości. Odmawiaj nieustannie tę koronkę, której cię nauczyłem. Ktokolwiek będzie ją odmawiał, dostąpi wielkiego miłosierdzia w godzinę śmierci. Kapłani będą podawać grzesznikom jako ostatnią deskę ratunku; chociażby był grzesznik najzatwardzialszy, jeżeli raz tylko odmówi tę koronkę, dostąpi łaski z nieskończonego miłosierdzia mojego. Pragnę, aby poznał świat cały miłosierdzie moje; niepojętych łask pragnę udzielać duszom, które ufają mojemu miłosierdziu. Dziecię moje, jeszcze parę kropel w kielichu, już niedługo. Kto ufa miłosierdziu mojemu, nie zginie, bo wszystkie sprawy jego moimi są, a nieprzyjaciele rozbiją się u stóp podnóżka mojego. Miłosierdzie masz okazywać zawsze i wszędzie bliźnim, nie możesz się od tego usunąć ani wymówić, ani uniewinnić. Podaję ci trzy sposoby czynienia miłosierdzia bliźnim: pierwszy - czyn, drugi - słowo, trzeci - modlitwa; w tych trzech stopniach zawiera się pełnia miłosierdzia i jest niezbitym dowodem miłości ku mnie. Dusze, które odmawiać będą tę koronkę, miłosierdzie moje ogarnie je w życiu, a szczególnie w śmierci godzinie. Módl się za kapłanów, szczególnie w tym czasie żniw. APRIL 8 KWIETNIA 2012 FOUR EAGLES BANQUET Mark you calendar now and plan to attend the Four Eagles Banquet tickets are $75 per person ($35 of which is tax deductable) or reserve a table of 8 for $550.00. The Social Center is transformed into an elegant dining hall complete with budding lilac trees (If you can t imagine this to be true, just come and see for yourself!!) A real special event with wonderful food, great silent auction items and a nice place to catch up with parishioners you see (or miss seeing) throughout the normal year, as we give tribute to Mrs. Katherine Geis and her son, Fred Geis for their support to St. Stan s. If you have never attended this event in the past, give it consideration. The funds support the continued advancement of the spiritual, educational and cultural mission of St. Stanislaus.
