The second edition of the easyfairs FOOD-to-GO: show for gastronomy, ice-cream parlours, pizzerias, snack bars and catering was held in Gdańsk on the 7th and 8th of February 2012. 65 exhibitors and about 1350 visitors took part in the fairs. The event attracted not only professionals from the gastronomy sector but also local media reporters from the web portal trojmiasto.tv, Radio Gdańsk and Radio Plus. The visitors appreciated the exhibitors rich offer abounding in gastronomy equipment, products and semi-finished products as well as interesting accompanying programme. A demonstration on sushi making and bartenders show were held as a part of the professional learnshops seminars. An interesting aspect of this year s fairs was the attendance of the representatives from Stowarzyszenie Kobiet Zgorzałego (Zgorzałe Women Association). Regional products promoted during the fairs proved to be popular among the visitors and made an interesting supplement to the offer presented by the professionals. Both the exhibitors and the visitors provided positive feedback on the second edition of the FOOD-to-GO fairs held in Gdańsk. They appreciated modern and business formula of the event and the professional organisation. The choice of date and location of the fairs was evaluated as favourable for the gastronomy sector businessmen in Pomerania. 2
