For information call: 201-443-8384 Religious Education For Children: CCD classes are held every Sunday from September through April at 9:15 am. Classes are conducted in our school building. Confessions: Daily Monday to Saturday following the 7:00 am Mass. Saturday afternoons at 4:00 pm. Sacrament Of The Sick: Sick Calls or other Emergency Calls should be made to the rectory at any time. Arrangements can also be made for regular visitations at home or hospital for Holy Communion and/or Confession. We urge you to keep us aware of parishioners who are ill in the hospital or at home. Marriages: Please make arrangements at least one year in advance. Couples are urged to solemnize their vows at a Nuptial Mass. Baptisms: The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated each month on the First Sunday (in English) and on the Third Sunday (in Polish). A required Baptismal Program for Parents is conducted at 1:00 pm on the second Sunday of the month in Polish and on the last Sunday in English. They spent several days sorting kitchen utensils; cleaning counters, walls, floors; and painting the kitchen & pantry area. Piusa X - papieża 22 sierpnia Najświętsza Maryja Panna Królowa Wspomnienie Maryi Królowej zostało wprowadzone przez papieża Piusa XII encykliką Ad caeli Reginam (Do Królowej niebios) wydaną 11 października 1954 r., w setną rocznicę ogłoszenia dogmatu o Niepokalanym Poczęciu Maryi. Już w czasie Soboru Watykańskiego I w roku 1869 biskupi francuscy i hiszpańscy prosili o to święto. Pierwszy Kongres Krajowy Maryjny we Francji odbyty w Lyonie (1900) prośbę tę ponowił. Uczyniły to również międzynarodowe kongresy maryjne odbyte we Fryburgu (1902) i w Einsiedeln (1904). Od roku 1923 wyłonił się specjalny ruch pro regalitate Mariæ. Początkowo wspomnienie Maryi Królowej obchodzone było w dniu 31 maja, ale w wyniku posoborowej reformy kalendarza liturgicznego przesunięto je na oktawę uroczystości Wniebowzięcia Maryi - 22 sierpnia. To właśnie wydarzenie ukoronowania Maryi wspominamy w piątej tajemnicy chwalebnej różańca. Był synem wiejskiego listonosza i szwaczki. Giuseppe od urodzenia żył w wielodzietnej rodzinie, jego rodzice mieli dziesięcioro dzieci. Po ukończeniu seminarium został wyświęcony na kapłana 18 września 1858. W 1867 został proboszczem w Salvano. W 1875 został kanonikiem w Treviso i kanclerzem. 10 listopada 1884 Leon XIII mianował Sarto biskupem Mantui. Najwięcej uwagi jako biskup zwracał na formację kleryków w seminarium. 12 czerwca 1893 został kreowany kardynałem prezbiterem i otrzymał kościół tytularny S. Bernardo alle Terme, a trzy dni później papież mianował go patriarchą Wenecji. 4 sierpnia 1903 został wybrany papieżem. W dziedzinie wewnętrznej podjął kroki mające zreformować kurię rzymską. Przede wszystkim zmniejszył liczbę kongregacji i wyznaczył im nowe zadania [ Papież dopuszczał ułatwienia Eucharystii chorym oraz tzw.wczesną Komunię (dzieci w "mniej więcej w siódmym roku życia"). Ponadto zreformował piew gregoriański oraz brewiarz. Zachęcał do badania Pisma św. zakładając w Rzymie Papieski Instytut Biblijny. Pius X zmarł w Rzymie 20 sierpnia 1914. Jego ostatnie słowa brzmiały: Poddaję się całkowicie.
