Our Parish School: We are part of an excellent co-sponsored elementary school: All Saints Academy. For information call: Religious Education For Children: CCD classes are held every Sunday from September through April at 9:15 am. Classes are conducted in our school building. Confessions: Daily Monday to Saturday following the 7:00 am Mass. Saturday afternoons at 4:00 pm. Sacrament Of The Sick: Sick Calls or other Emergency Calls should be made to the rectory at any time. Arrangements can also be made for regular visitations at home or hospital for Holy Communion and/or Confession. We urge you to keep us aware of parishioners who are ill in the hospital or at home. Marriages: Please make arrangements at least one year in advance. Couples are urged to solemnize their vows at a Nuptial Mass. Baptisms: The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated each month on the First Sunday (in English) and on the Third Sunday (in Polish). A required Baptismal Program for Parents is conducted at 1:00 pm on the second Sunday of the month in Polish and on the last Sunday in English. Novenas: Every Thursday Evening to Divine Mercy following the 7:00 pm Mass. The stained glass window image of The Crowning of Mary presently standing by our Blessed Mother Altar, comes from the rectory priests chapel. This window was originally in the Felician Convent chapel of St. Adalbert Parish in Elizabeth, NJ. In 1995, the Felician Sisters left St. Adalbert Parish. The convent building was sold to the town of Elizabeth and became a branch of the Elizabeth City Library and a counseling center. At that time, the stained glass windows were removed. This window was restored and framed through the generosity of Aleta & Rich Taylor, who presented it in 2006 to Msgr. Ron when the Mt. Carmel rectory priests chapel was established. Some Marian Trivia In the main body of our church, there are 25 artistic representation of Blessed Mother. Can you locate them? (We are not counting the Czestochowa Shrine icon in the main entrance side chapel. Also, a hint: Some are small) The display cabinet in the main lobby of the church features this month, a copy of the original Observatory Romano Vatican newspaper announcement of the election of St. John Paul II to the Papacy. Other artistic items are on display. Please stop by and enjoy them. 4 St. John Paul II Society Autumn Harvest Festival Roast Pork Dinner! Proceeds benefit their parish work with youth and support to our young people in Catholic High Schools. Blessed Miriam Teresa Demjanovich, a native of Bayonne, was beatified on Saturday, Oct. 4 at Sacred Heart Cathedral. There will be a special Mass of celebration at St. Vincent s Church (the church of her teenage years) on Saturday October 18 at 12 Noon. All are invited to attend. October is the month of the Rosary. The Rosary Society will lead the Rosary every Saturday evening at 4:40 PM (prior to the 5PM Mass) and Sunday Morning at 11:50 AM. (prior to the 12:15) We also have Rosary Devotions in English every Tuesday after the 7:00 PM Mass. On Sunday afternoons at 4:00 PM: Polish devotions. Have you prayed the Rosary Lately? November is a Month of Remembrance. In our Catholic tradition, we remember in a special way all of our deceased relatives and friends. At Mt. Carmel, all Masses on Sunday, Nov. 2 will be offered for our deceased. To enroll your loved ones, please use the envelopes included in your envelope packets. (Extra envelopes may be found at the entrances of the church.) The Reservation of All Souls Candles will be available the weekends of Oct. 19 & 26. As is our custom, we decorate the main altar with these white Memorial Candles starting on All Saints Day. You may use the form below to reserve candles. W tym czasie pamiętamy szczególnie o naszych zmarłych krewnych i przyjaciołach. W naszej parafii w niedzielę wszystkie Msze Święte będą odprawiane w intencji wszystkich poleconych nam zmarłych. Koperty na ten cel zostały wysłane do Państwa w pakiecie, a dodatkowe można zabrać przy wejściu do kościoła. Świece wotywne będą możliwe do nabycia w weekendy & października. Formularz wcześniejszej rezerwacji świec na Dzień Zaduszny. Można dostarczyć do biura parafialnego lub złożyć do koszyka podczas zbierania kolekty. Proszę o zarezerwowanie dla mnie świec w intencji następujących zmarłych: Imię i nazwisko (drukowanymi literami): Ofiara: $ za świecę. Prosimy również o to, aby w miarę możliwości unikać podawania wszelkich powiązań rodzinnych ze względu na ograniczoną liczbę miejsca w kolumnie w której wpisujemy intencje w biuletynie; Na przykład zamiast: Msza za zmarłego syna, wnuka, siostrzeńca Jana Kowalskiego. Wpisujemy Śp. Jan Kowalski. Imię i nazwisko w zupełności wystarczy.
