Our Parish School: We are part of an excellent co-sponsored elementary school: All Saints Academy. For information call: 201-443-8384 Religious Education For Children: CCD classes are held every Sunday from September through April at 9:15 am. Classes are conducted in our school building. Confessions: Daily Monday to Saturday following the 7:00 am Mass. Saturday afternoons at 4:00 pm. Sacrament Of The Sick: Sick Calls or other Emergency Calls should be made to the rectory at any time. Arrangements can also be made for regular visitations at home or hospital for Holy Communion and/or Confession. We urge you to keep us aware of parishioners who are ill in the hospital or at home. Marriages: Please make arrangements at least one year in advance. Couples are urged to solemnize their vows at a Nuptial Mass. Baptisms: The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated each month on the First Sunday (in English) and on the Third Sunday (in Polish). A required Baptismal Program for Parents is conducted at 1:00 pm on the second Sunday of the month in Polish and on the last Sunday in English. Novenas: Every Thursday Evening to Divine Mercy following the 7:00 pm Mass. W przeddzień swojej męki, podczas wieczerzy paschalnej Pan wziął w swoje ręce chleb i po odmówieniu błogosławieństwa połamał go i podał uczniom, mówiąc: Bierzcie, to jest Ciało moje. Następnie wziął kielich, odmówił dziękczynienie, podał im i pili z niego wszyscy. I rzekł: To jest moja Krew Przymierza, która za wielu będzie wylana. W tych słowach zawiera się cała historia Boga z ludźmi. Nie tylko streszczają one i interpretują przeszłość, ale antycypują przyszłość - przyjście Królestwa Bożego na świat. Podczas procesji i adoracji patrzymy na konsekrowaną Hostię - najprostszy rodzaj chleba i pokarmu - przygotowaną jedynie z odrobiny mąki i wody. Dlatego jawi się ona jako pokarm ubogich - to im przede wszystkim Pan chce towarzyszyć swoją obecnością. Modlitwa, w której podczas liturgii mszalnej Kościół ofiaruje ten chleb Panu, nazywa go owocem ziemi i pracy rąk ludzkich. Jest w nim ludzki trud, codzienna praca człowieka, który uprawia ziemię, sieje, zbiera ziarno i w końcu wyrabia chleb. Jednakże chleb nie jest tylko i wyłącznie naszym wyrobem, rzeczą, którą zrobiliśmy. Jest owocem ziemi, a więc także darem. Pierwotny Kościół widział w chlebie jeszcze jeden symbol. W Nauce Dwunastu Apostołów, księdze napisanej ok. 100. r., pośród modlitw znajduje się stwierdzenie: Tak jak ten połamany chleb, rozrzucony po wzgórzach i zebrany, stał się czymś jednym, podobnie Twój Kościół, zebrany ze wszystkich zakątków ziemi, niech zostanie zgromadzony w Twoim Królestwie. Chleb, który powstał z wielu ziaren, oznacza również jedność: stawanie się chlebem ze zmielonych ziaren jest procesem jednoczenia. W podobny sposób przemawia do nas znak wina. O ile jednak chleb związany jest z codziennością, prostotą i pielgrzymowaniem, wino wyraża piękno stworzenia: święto radości, którym Bóg chce nas obdarzyć przy końcu czasów i które już teraz wciąż na nowo zapowiada przez ten znak. Podczas procesji idziemy za tym znakiem i w ten sposób idziemy za Nim samym. I prosimy Go: Prowadź nas na drogach naszej historii! Wskazuj wciąż na nowo Kościołowi i jego pasterzom właściwą drogę. Spójrz na ludzkość, która cierpi i błąka się niepewnie pośród tylu pytań. Spójrz na dręczący ją głód fizyczny i duchowy! Obdarz ludzi chlebem dla ciała i dla duszy. Daj im pracę! Obdarz ich światłem! Daj im samego siebie! Oczyść i uświęć wszystkich! Zgromadź nas ze wszystkich zakątków ziemi. Zjednocz Kościół, zjednocz rozdartą ludzkość! Daj nam Twoje zbawienie!
