Our Parish School: We are part of an excellent co-sponsored elementary school: All Saints Academy. For information call: 201-443-8384 Religious Education For Children: CCD classes are held every Sunday from September through April at 9:15 am. Classes are conducted in our school building. Confessions: Daily Monday to Saturday following the 7:00 am Mass. Saturday afternoons at 4:00 pm. Sacrament Of The Sick: Sick Calls or other Emergency Calls should be made to the rectory at any time. Arrangements can also be made for regular visitations at home or hospital for Holy Communion and/or Confession. We urge you to keep us aware of parishioners who are ill in the hospital or at home. Marriages: Please make arrangements at least one year in advance. Couples are urged to solemnize their vows at a Nuptial Mass. Baptisms: The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated each month on the First Sunday (in English) and on the Third Sunday (in Polish). A required Baptismal Program for Parents is conducted at 1:00 pm on the second Sunday of the month in Polish and on the last Sunday in English. Novenas: Every Thursday Evening to Divine Mercy following the 7:00 pm Mass. In order to make it easier, the Parish Secretary is available next weekend ( Feb. 28) before and after the Masses in the main entrance of the church to collect Parish Dues. You may also send your dues book through the mail to the rectory or make a personal visit to the rectory during regular office hours. Dues remain at: $ 15 for a family, $10 for an individual, and $5 for Seniors (65+) & Young Adults (19-25). Not Registered with Us Yet? No Problem! You may register in church this weekend. Roczna składka wynosi: rodzina: $15.00 osoba stanu wolnego: $10.00 seniorzy (65+), młodzi ludzie (18-25): $5.00 DOROCZNY APEL ARCYBISKUPA Poprzez wsparcie Apelu Arcybiskupa, możemy uczynić jeden krok w wypełnianiu naszego postanowienia wielkopostnego, a zarazem przyczynić się do wsparcia finansowego wszelkich programów prowadzonych przez Archidiecezję Newark: seminaria, organizacje wspierające potrzebujących i wiele innych. Nie musisz dać dużo, ale jeżeli każdy parafianin wspomoże to dzieło, będziemy zdolni odpowiedzieć na apel Arcybiskupa. Nasz cel to $ 42,526.00 23 lutego - Wspomnienie św. Polikarpa, biskupa i męczennika. Polikarp był uczniem św. Jana Ewangelisty. Około roku 107 św. Ignacy z Antiochii napisał piękny list do Polikarpa, kiedy był wieziony okrętem do Rzymu, by tam ponieść śmierć męczeńską, i zatrzymał się w Troadzie. W liście tym Ignacy oddaje Polikarpowi najwyższe pochwały, kiedy go nazywa dobrym pasterzem, niezłomnym w wierze i mężnym atletą Chrystusa. Takim przedstawiają go wszystkie świadectwa. Polikarp miał rządzić Kościołem w Smyrnie przez około 60 lat i ukoronować życie śmiercią męczeńską. Miał ponad 86 lat, kiedy oskarżono go o lekceważenie pogańskiej religii i jej obrzędów, jak też zwyczajów. Oskarżono go przed namiestnikiem rzymskim, Stacjuszem Kodratosem. Na oskarżenia Polikarp odpowiedział: "Osiemdziesiąt sześć lat służę Chrystusowi, nigdy nie wyrządził mi krzywdy, jakżebym mógł bluźnić memu Królowi i Zbawcy? Stacjusz skazał Polikarpa na śmierć przez spalenie na stosie. Gdy zaś płomienie nie chciały się imać męczennika, zginął od pchnięcia puginałem. Działo się to na stadionie w Smyrnie 22 lutego, najprawdopodobniej w 156 r., choć podaje się okres pomiędzy rokiem 155 a 169. Polikarp pozostawił po sobie cenny list do Filipian - świadectwo tradycji apostolskiej. Innym ważnym pomnikiem literatury starochrześcijańskiej jest opis jego męki.
