Our Parish School: We are part of an excellent co-sponsored elementary school: All Saints Academy. For information call: Religious Education For Children: CCD classes are held every Sunday from September through April at 9:15 am. Classes are conducted in our school building. Rectory Telephone Numbers: Office: Fax: Confessions: Daily Monday to Saturday following the 7:00 am Mass. Saturday afternoons at 3:30 pm. Sacrament Of The Sick: Sick Calls or other Emergency Calls should be made to the rectory at any time. Arrangements can also be made for regular visitations at home or hospital for Holy Communion and/or Confession. We urge you to keep us aware of parishioners who are ill in the hospital or at home. Marriages: Please make arrangements at least one year in advance. Couples are urged to solemnize their vows at a Nuptial Mass. Baptisms: A required Baptismal Program for Parents is conducted at 1:00 pm on the second Sunday of the month in Polish and on the last Sunday in English. The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated each month on the First Sunday (in English) and on the Third Sunday (in Polish.) Novenas: Every Tuesday Evening to Saint Anne following the 7:00 pm Mass. Od następnej soboty wieczorna Msza św. będzie o 5:00 PM, a nie jak dotychczas o 5:30.

4 A Blessed Christmas and A Happy New Year to all! Welcome Home to all who have come back to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel for the Christmas season! The heart of our Parish is our beautiful Church building. It is a treasure that those who went before us entrusted to us. We must do our part in preserving and enhancing it for the next generation. If you are visiting we would like to point out a few new additions since last Christmas. The Pope John Paul II shrine has been completed and we received a personal item of the Venerable Pope John Paul II ( an Amice) from His Eminence, Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz. The amice is on display near the shrine. We have completed the Shrine to Divine Mercy and have obtained a beautiful tapestry of Saint Faustina. We now have available year long Vigil Candles which can be placed at a saint of the family or friends choice. (There are forms to reserve these candles at the Divine Mercy Shrine area. In the main entrance area, we have a seasonal display cabinet. Presently there are Christmas items on display. We have obtained statues of St. Peter and St. Paul. (The original ones disappeared more than 20 years ago.) The new ones are in the sanctuary where they originally stood. (We are looking for donors for them!) Each year we try to enhance the beauty of OLMC. EPIPHANY BLESSING OF HOMES A beautiful custom of people of Polish Heritage is to have their homes blessed for the New Year. The blessing is intended for the home of those who dwell there asking God to Bless and Protect them with health, happiness and peace throughout the New Year. 5 BŁOGOSŁAWIONYCH ŚWIĄT I SZCZĘŚLIWEGO NOWEGO ROKU Witamy serdecznie w domu naszych parafian, którzy spędzali czas w swoich rodzinach. Nasz piękny kościół jest sercem i skarbem naszej parafii pozostawionym nam przez naszych poprzedników. Jesteśmy tym samym zobowiązani, aby go zachować dla przyszłych pokoleń. Możemy zauważyć, że miniony rok był czasem wielu zmian i prac. Ukończony został postument na pomnik Jana Pawła II. Nasza parafia otrzymała dar od ks. kard. Stanisława Dziwisza, byłego osobistego sekretarza Jego Świątobliwości Jana Pawła II. Jeden z humerłów, które Papież używał podczas sprawowania liturgii. Humerał, znajduje się w bocznym ołtarzu. Ukończona została kaplica Miłosierdzia Bożego, w której znajduję się gobelin z wizerunkiem św. Siostry Faustyny. Wprowadzona została nowa forma świec upamiętniających naszych bliskich i przyjaciół, tzw. roczne świece pamięci. (Formy na ich zamówienia znajdują się przy kaplicy Miłosierdzia Bożego). Przy głównym wyjściu z kościoła znajduje się gablota, w której pragniemy eksponować rzeczy związane z liturgią i życiem naszej parafii. Po ok. 20 latach nieobecności do głównego ołtarza wróciły statuły św. Piotra i Pawła. (Jeżeli chciałbyś złożyć dar na jedną z nich prosimy o kontakt z Kancelarią Parafialną). Każdego roku staramy się upiekszyć naszą świątynię. BŁOGOSŁAWIEŃSTWO DOMÓW KOLĘDA Sotaropolskim zwyczajem i tradycją jest poświęcenie domów w Nowym Roku. Prośba o błogosławienstwo jest aktem uznania naszej kruchości.. Przez błogosławieństwo oczekujemy od Boga łaski życia w szczęściu, zdrowiu oraz pokoju przez cały Nowy Rok. Kolędę rozpoczniemy od godz. 9:00 AM do 5:00 PM w wyznaczonych obszarach miata. Ci, którzynie będą mogli być w domach podczas tego czasu, a chcą by poswięcić ich dom, prosimy o kontakt z Kancelarią Parafialną, aby ustaliś inny stosowny czas.
