SERVICE CASE AUTOMATIC POWER SWITCH TESTER TECHICAL AD OPERATIOAL DOCUMETATIO
1. APPLICATIO The type W-27 was designed for special demand of groups occupied with startup of electric power stations. The main purpose of the case is testing SZR (automatic power switch) type of devices. It can also be used to simulate the state of connectors, switch, grounding and reaction of the system to planned events. 2. COSTRUCTIO The device is powered from a 230V AC grid. The service case is equipped with 2 independent, wire fuse secured, transformers of direct current for provision of power supply and controls to the 110VDC and 220VDC devices. The case allows the connection of a 3-phase 3x400V current, and with use of toroidal transformer transforms the voltage to a level that can be used for measurement circuits of the tested device. The faceplate features three wire fuses, used to secure the voltage/measurement circuits from short circuits or overcurrent. All banana jack connectors built on the front of the device are secure laboratory sockets. The device has 8 indicator LEDs that are activated through potentials on the respective optical connectors paired with them. apięcie Linii 1- apięcie Linii 2- ĄCZ TRYB ĄCZ TRYB ĄCZ ĄCZ PE 3x400V napięć do pomiaru WALIZKA SERWISOWA TYP W-27 TESTER SZR-15kV FUSE ĄCZ TRYB ĄCZ TRYB Wyjście 110 VDC sygnalizacyjne ĄCZ ĄCZ FUSE Wyjście 220 VDC FUSE FUSE FUSE Zabezpieczenie obwodów napięciowych Imax=150mA ĄCZ TRYB ĄCZ Wejście napięcia sterowniczego Zasilanie testera RS232 Wyjście napięcia - Sekcja 1 Zał. with the case. WARIG: the device is used for work in T-S type of power grid with efficient grounding. Failure to meet that condition may lead to the appearance, on metal surfaces of the device cover, of dangerous electric potentials that pose substantial threat to both the service personnel and the device itself. After switching on the power supply connect the appropriate banana jack sockets should be connected in order to select the steering voltage. The sockets marked steering voltage input should be powered with 110 or 220V DC from the transformer of the case or an external source of voltage. In no event should the voltages of 110 and 220V be connected together, or an outer source connected with the power from the case transformer this will cause significant damage to the device. In order to facilitate the power supply of the tested devices three transformers lowering the 3x400V voltages of the interphase voltage. Thus 3x230V or should be directly connected. It is forbidden to connect both of those voltages simultaneously. After the aforesaid preparation of case for work the tested inputs and outputs of the tested device can be connected. In order to prevent connection errors, that could potentially damage the case, the optical input connectors of the case were made in form of white banana jack sockets, and the output connectors are made as violet banana jack sockets. 4. USE The device is dedicated for testing medium voltage SZR automatic. Thanks to its universal character it allows the connection of every manufacturer s SZR devices. The device allows the connection of 5 switches, that is their copies (on/off/standby) and the on/off controls of the switches. The auxiliary connectors placed on the elevation of the device can simulate different types of signals and feed them to the tested device. As a standard the tester switches are armed after switching off of the switch, but there is the possibility of reversing the logic of readiness by pressing a set combination of keys. Arming on on is switched by pressing buttons 1 and 10 for approx. 5 seconds, arming on off by pressing buttons 2 and 9. This means that if there is voltage present on the line and the switches are shut. You can switch off this function by pressing down buttons 4 and 7 for approximately 5 seconds. After reloading supply the situation will revert to as state in which the presence of voltage depends again on the state of the switches. DTR W-27_04.2014 3
