We see him in the obvious place (the altar and tabernacle) and we see Him dancing in the Social Center! We see Him eating pierogi and we see him washing dishes! We see Him sitting alone along the wall hoping for someone to sit with Him and keep Him company and we see Him standing at the bar downing a cytrynowka with friends! We see Him stirring the czarnina and we see Him selling raffle tickets and instants and sideboards! We see him in every smiling face and in the faces of those who are no longer at this festival, but already with Him in heaven! Od Oceanu do Oceanu Matka Pana odwiedza nas 22 października 22 października 2013 r. kopia Jasnogórskiej Ikony odwiedzi sanktuarium św. Stanisława w Cleveland. Jest to jedna ze stacji peregrynacji poprzez kontynenty zatytułowanej: Od Oceanu do Oceanu. Przeor Jasnej Góry, o. Roman Majewski zapowiadając to wydarzenie napisał m.in: Pod natchnieniem Bożym w sobotę 28 stycznia 2012 r. liderzy ruchów obrony życia z 18 krajów złożyli przed Matką Bożą w Ikonie Jasnogórskiej Akt Powierzenia Maryi Ochrony Życia i Miłości. Tego samego dnia ks. Abp Stanisław Nowak z Częstochowy poświęcił kopię Cudownej Ikony przeznaczoną do peregrynacji przez świat Od Oceanu do Oceanu od Władywostoku do Fatimy w obronie życia. Kopia ta została uroczyście przyłożona do Oryginału. Na Wschodzie, w Rosji Ikonę Częstochowską gościł głównie Kościół Prawosławny, na Zachodzi i w Polsce Kościół Katolicki. Wielka cześć i umiłowanie Maryi, Bożej Matki, kult ikony, oraz wielkie zaangażowanie w ochronę ludzkiego życia i rodziny łączą nasze Kościoły. Trasa i etapy peregrynacji, Od Oceanu do Oceanu wynosi ok. 18 tys. km i obejmuje 23 kraje. ( ) Peregrynacja Ikony Częstochowskiej Od Oceanu do Oceanu przez świat w obronie życia jest wydarzeniem historycznym, bez precedensu i ma olbrzymie znaczenie. Wyrażam moją wielką radość i serdeczne podziękowanie tym wszystkim, dzięki którym Matka Boża przemierza świat w znaku jasnogórskiego Obrazu i przypomina wszystkim o wartości i godności życia ludzkiego. Od poczęcia po jego śmierć. To wydarzenie ma historyczne znaczenie. Chcemy jeszcze raz podkreślić jego główny cel: modlitwa w obronie życia. Można powiedzieć, że Maryja jeszcze dzisiaj wypełnia swoją misję. Tak, jak po Zwiastowaniu, z Jezusem pod sercem, udała się z pośpiechem do Elżbiety, tak teraz w kopii Cudownej Ikony pokonuje tysiące kilometrów, aby przekonać wszystkich, jak ważne jest życie każdego człowieka. Maryja stoi w centrum walki o życie, prawdę, zbawienie. Także i dzisiaj, i w naszym kraju, toczy się walka pomiędzy życiem a śmiercią, pomiędzy kulturą życia, a kulturą śmierci. Modląc się używamy w tej walce nie karabinów, ale różańca modlitwy i postu czyli środków, które mają do dyspozycji ludzie ubodzy. Jednak nie upadamy na duchu, ponieważ walcząc o poszanowanie życia ludzkiego, walczymy pod sztandarem Tego, który pokonał szatana i śmierć, oraz Jego Matki, pokornej Służebnicy Pana. Ona zaniesie nasze modlitwy przed Boży Tron, oczyści i przez swoje pośrednictwo nada im większą wartość. Przyjdź i Ty, aby razem z Maryją stanąć po stronie życia! Komentarz biblijny Po pięciu przypowieściach, które pokazały słabość nauczycieli religijnych oraz po zapowiedzi, że zgorszenia będą pochodziły także z powstającego środowiska uczniów Jezusa, apostołowie poprosili o dodanie im wiary. Uczniowie są przerażeni. Widzą selektywną tradycję religijną, niemoralność, bogactwo, wrogość, znają własne słabości. Czy mogą mieć wpływ na przemianę tego wszystkiego? Słaba wiara to ta, która nie polega na mocy Boga. Różne przeszkody zewnętrzne oraz własne słabości wydają się być silniejsze od mocy Boga. Ich wiara ma wyrwać morwę. Korzenie czarnej morwy rozrastają się we wszystkie strony, co sprawia, iż trudno jest usunąć to drzewo wraz z korzeniami. Ziarenka gorczycy były przysłowiowo małe. Ich wiara ma wyrywać silnie ukorzenioną morwę, czyli trudną do wyrwania tradycję nieposłuszeństwa Bogu oraz opierania się przed nawróceniem do żywego Boga. Uczniowie Jezusa osiągną to tylko poprzez posłuszeństwo podobne do posłuszeństwa sługi pracującego w polu, a potem w domu. Bezużytecznym byłoby służenie Jezusowi w inny sposób, od tego, jak On sam to czynił PLENARNE SPOTKANIE PARAFIAN Pierwsze spotkanie parafian będzie miało miejsce w środę, 16. października (w święto św. Jadwigi) o godz. 7:00 wieczorem. Spotkanie odbędzie się w kościele.
