Our Parish School: We are part of an excellent co-sponsored elementary school: All Saints Academy. For information call: Religious Education For Children: CCD classes are held every Sunday from September through April at 9:15 am. Classes are conducted in our school building. Confessions: Daily Monday to Saturday following the 7:00 am Mass. Saturday afternoons at 4:00 pm. Sacrament Of The Sick: Sick Calls or other Emergency Calls should be made to the rectory at any time. Arrangements can also be made for regular visitations at home or hospital for Holy Communion and/or Confession. We urge you to keep us aware of parishioners who are ill in the hospital or at home. Marriages: Please make arrangements at least one year in advance. Couples are urged to solemnize their vows at a Nuptial Mass. Baptisms: The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated each month on the First Sunday (in English) and on the Third Sunday (in Polish). A required Baptismal Program for Parents is conducted at 1:00 pm on the second Sunday of the month in Polish and on the last Sunday in English. We all say that! We were blessed with a very generous Easter collection this year. However, we were also blessed with an unforeseen major expense. An abandoned oil tank was discovered on our property. We think it was from the old parish center that stood on the land between our present church and rectory. The State of New Jersey has required us to test the soil, remove the tank and any contaminated soil. The total cost for the project to date is $ 81, This might not be the final total. Follow-up testing of the soil will be done. Hopefully, no further steps will have to be taken. So, that is where some of the money goes! They will receive our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament for the first time next Saturday. Our May Crowning will be conducted by our First Communion Class next Sunday during the 9:30 AM Mass. Come join them in honoring our Blessed Mother! Mothers Day is two weeks away. You may register your mother, (living or deceased) for the special Masses on that weekend by using the envelope in your parishioner package, or by obtaining an envelope at the church entrances. You may also memorialize a special Blue Mothers Day Candle for your mother by reserving one from our volunteers. The offering is $5.00. These candles will burn on the Main Altar on Mothers Day weekend.

4 Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Club News Last week, the Club gave out its first $ 1000,00. The Lucky winners were Jane & Charlie Dullea. Their chance goes back into the bowl for the next 11 drawings. Each month, one lucky winner is awarded $ 1, Even if you win, your ticket is returned for future drawings. There are still a few tickets left for those who want to be eligible for the next 11 months. Please bring your clean, usable, but no longer needed clothing, shoes, and accessories to the Catholic Charities Clothing Collection Box found behind our convent building. Your clothing helps the needy and Catholic Charities in their ministry to the poor. Small appliances may also be dropped off. Looking to be of service? We are looking for additional Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and Lectors. On Saturday, May 9 ( 8:45AM 12:30 PM) there will be a workshop for Eucharistic Ministers at the Archdiocesan Center. (The fee for the program will be paid by the parish.) Programs for Lectors will be in the near future. Please let Msgr. Ron know is you are interested in either of these Ministries. Thank You to all who supported our ministry to the Homeless! We run the weekly Monday program during the Winter months to enable the homeless & poor to stay off the streets during the cold weather and to have something to eat. We have stopped the weekly program for the summer and will re-start the program in November. We still privately help a small group of individuals and families. Cards and money, to assist us during the summer, may be put in any collection, be sent to the rectory or placed in the wooden collection box by St. Joseph. The Poor we always have with us! We honor Christ by caring for His brothers & sisters.

5 Maj - miesiącem Maryi o 7:00 PM. Pragniemy przypomnieć, że maj poświęcony jest Najświętszej Maryi Pannie. Nabożeństwo majowe w j. angielskim - wtorki po Mszy ś w. Nabożeństwo majowe w języku polskim - czwartki po Mszy św. o 7:00 PM oraz niedziele o 3:00 PM. Mamy niestety wciąż niewystarczającą liczbę polskojęzycznych Nadzwyczajnych Szafarzy Eucharystii. Bardzo nam zależy, aby znaleźć nowe osoby, które podejmą się tej zaszczytnej funkcji. Nie trzeba być świętym żeby to robić, trzeba mieć tylko troche chęci oraz odwagi. Następny kurs archidiecezjalny będzie miał miejsce w sobotę, 9 maja 2015 r. w godzinach: 8:45 AM - 12:30 PM w Newarku. Zainteresowanych prosimy o kontakt z ks. Andrzejem. Uroczystość I Komunii Świętej w naszej parafii będzie miała miejsce w przyszłą sobotę. Gratulujemy dzieciom oraz ich rodzicom i ogarniamy ich naszą modlitwą. Panowie zdejmują czapki. Przy drzwiach zwykle wisi kropielnica z wodą święconą. Możesz w niej zanurzyć palce przed znakiem krzyża. To znak błogosławieństwa Bożego. Znak krzyża od czoła, poprzez ramiona do piersi, to nie odganianie much. Witasz się z Bogiem w Trójcy Świętej. Na końcu składasz ręce w geście oddania się Jego Opiece. Jeśli zdrowie na to pozwala, przyklęknij na prawe kolano. Uklęknięcie to tradycyjny znak ciała wyrażający szacunek władcy, królowi, komuś, kto jest wyższy rangą. Jeśli ktoś jest osobą starszą lub ma problem z kolanami, wystarczy wykonać głęboki skłon ciała. Przechodząc w kościele przed Najświętszym Sakramentem przyklęknij na prawe kolano lub wykonaj skłon ciała, jeśli nie możesz przyklęknąć. Nie kucaj, bo to jest śmieszne i nic nie oznacza. Gumę do żucia zostaw przed kościołem. Nie jedz nic w kościele, nawet cukierka. Nie zostawiaj papierków po sobie ani chusteczek higienicznych. Wyłącz komórkę. Aniołowie zaniosą Twoje przesłanie Najwyższemu bez pośrednictwa sieci. Nie rozmawiaj, uszanuj ciszę tego miejsca. Jeśli musisz coś powiedzieć, zrób to szeptem. Używaj śpiewnika Pan z wami lub Word and Song. Po skończonej Mszy Świętej odnieś go na półkę. Do Komunii Świętej jako pierwsi przystępują szafarze Eucharystii, lektor oraz członkowie chóru, o ile są obecni. Proszę wstrzymać się z wyjściem z ławek, aż wyżej wymienione osoby przyjmą Eucharystię. Procesję komunijną formujemy w dwa rzędy zaczynając od pierwszej ławki w kościele. Jeśli dochodzą ławki boczne, stosujemy zasadę naprzemiennego podchodzenia (jedna osoba z głównego rzędu, następna z bocznego).
