2 Pastor`s Letter / List Ojca Proboszcza Dear parishioners and guests, This week we will celebrate Thanksgiving. This is an excellent opportunity to be grateful for the gifts God has given us. Whenever we do good and meet with gratitude from people, our hearts rejoice. We are glad that we could do something good for others and in this way make their lives a little better. On the contrary, when we do good for others and do everything possible to make them happy and we meet with ingratitude on their part, we become distressed and upset. Similarly, it is with God. The grateful heart rejoices God, because it tells God that we are happy with what we have received from Him. The ungrateful heart, bitter and pretentious, grieves the Creator and hurts his heart, which is always full of kindness and love. Paradoxically, our ingratitude and lack of memory about the great works of God also saddens us. I have not met anyone in my life who would be ungrateful and happy at the same time. Only grateful people are happy. That is why we need to practice gratitude and show it to each other. It may be worth thinking about people this week whom I owe a lot to in my life and show them gratitude - visiting their graves (if they have already passed away), sending them flowers, or saying a simple word "thank you". By doing so, we will immediately notice how our gratitude causes joy in their hearts and how it makes us happy too. It is also worth spending a little more time in prayer, recognizing God as the only source of all good and thanking Him for loving us and taking care of us every day. It is also worth making a resolution for this week that I will not complain, and speak badly about anyone. Here is my proposal for you, for this week: let's do this week without complaining, slandering and gossiping and we will see how God s peace will feel us and makes us happy. God bless you! Jest to znakomita okazja do wdzięczności za otrzymane od Boga dary. Zawsze, kiedy czynimy dobro i spotykamy się z wdzięcznością ze strony ludzi, raduje się nasze serce. Cieszymy się, że mogliśmy coś dobrego dla innych zrobić i w ten sposób choć trochę uczynić ich życie lepszym. I przeciwnie, kiedy czynimy dla innych dobro i robimy wszystko, by byli szczęśliwi, a spotykamy się z ich strony z niewdzięcznością, wtedy jest nam smutno i przykro. Podobnie rzecz się ma z Bogiem. Wdzięcznie usposobione serce raduje Boga, gdyż przekazuje Bogu wiadomość o tym, że cieszymy się tym, co od niego otrzymaliśmy. Serce niewdzięczne, zgorzkniałe i pretensjonalne, zasmuca Stwórcę i rani Jego pełne dobroci i miłości serce. Paradoksalnie nasza niewdzięczność i brak pamięci o wielkich dziełach Boga zasmuca także nas. Nie spotkałem jeszcze w życiu nikogo, kto byłby niewdzięczny i jednocześnie szczęśliwy. Tylko wdzięczne osoby są szczęśliwe. Dlatego trzeba nam się ćwiczyć we wdzięczności i w okazywaniu jej sobie nawzajem. Warto może w tym tygodniu pomyśleć o osobach, którym w moim życiu wiele zawdzięczam i okazać im wdzięczność nawiedzając ich groby (jeśli już odeszli), posyłając kwiaty, bądź wypowiadając proste słowo dziękuję. Czyniąc to, zaraz zauważymy, jak nasza wdzięczność powoduje radość w sercach tych ludzi i jak ich radość nam się udzieli. Warto także spędzić trochę więcej czasu na modlitwie, uznając Boga jako jedyne źródło wszelkiego dobra i dziękując Mu z serca za to, że nas kocha i troszczy się o nas każdego dnia. Warto także podjąć postanowienie na ten tydzień, że nie będę narzekał, psioczył i źle mówił o kimkolwiek. Moja propozycja zatem dla nas wszystkich na ten czas: przeżyjmy ten tydzień bez narzekania, obmowy i plotkowania a zobaczymy, że więcej będzie wtedy w nas Bożego pokoju i radości. 4 T HANKSGIVING DAY PRAYER Lord, we thank you for the goodness of our people and for the spirit of justice that fills this nation. We thank you for the beauty and fullness of the land and the challenge of the cities. We thank you for our work and our rest, for one another, and for our homes. We thank you, Lord: accept our thanksgiving on this day. We pray and give thanks through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. ENCOURAGEMENT This 's Gospel is our final selection from Mark for this liturgical year. It is taken from the end of Jesus' teaching in Jerusalem immediately preceding the account of his arrest and passion. In it Jesus gives his disciples hope to sustain them through his passion and death and any persecution or suffering that they would encounter after his resurrection. The words from the book of Daniel also provided hope and encouragement to the people of Daniel's time. The encouragement in these scriptures is meant for us as well, for none of us will escape tribulation in our lives. Followers of Jesus will be able to endure suffering with joyful hope, knowing that Christ's love will lead us along the way of discipleship and give us eternal life with God.

5 KSIĄŻKA Z INTENCJAMI NA ROK 2019 Zamawiając Mszę świętą za bliskie nam osoby, ofiarujemy im najlepszy prezent duchowy dar, którym jest postawienie tej osoby w strumieniu łaski. Książka z intencjami mszalnymi na 2019 rok jest już otwarta do wpisów. W celu zamówienia intencji mszalnych na 2019 rok, prosimy o przyjście do biura parafialnego. Intencje można też przynieść do zakrystii przed i po każdej Mszy świętej. W naszym kościele nie obowiązują stawki za sprawowanie sakramentów, nie wyznaczamy, ile kto ma zapłacić. Wierni proszący o odprawienie Mszy św. składają ofiarę, taką, na jaką ich stać. Nie jest to zapłata za modlitwę; msza św. jest za darmo cenę zapłacił Chrystus. Składana ofiara jest podstawowym źródłem utrzymania naszego kościoła. Jest to rodzaj odpowiedzialności za Kościół, a zapewne też wyraz troski i sposób dzielenia się tym, co się posiada.
