For information call: 201-443-8384 Religious Education For Children: CCD classes are held every Sunday from September through April at 9:15 am. Classes are conducted in our school building. Confessions: Daily Monday to Saturday following the 7:00 am Mass. Saturday afternoons at 4:00 pm. Sacrament Of The Sick: Sick Calls or other Emergency Calls should be made to the rectory at any time. Arrangements can also be made for regular visitations at home or hospital for Holy Communion and/or Confession. We urge you to keep us aware of parishioners who are ill in the hospital or at home. Marriages: Please make arrangements at least one year in advance. Couples are urged to solemnize their vows at a Nuptial Mass. Baptisms: The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated each month on the First Sunday (in English) and on the Third Sunday (in Polish). A required Baptismal Program for Parents is conducted at 1:00 pm on the second Sunday of the month in Polish and on the last Sunday in English. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated on April 12, 2016 At 12:00 Noon. Those who wish to be Confirmed must register for the Confirmation Program. Students must be in the first year of High School or older. (Adults may also register for the Sacrament.) Registration will take place on Thursday, June 25 at 7:00 PM - Parish Center. And on Tuesday, June 30 at 7:00 PM in the Parish Center. At these presentations, the schedule for classes, retreats and activities will be explained. If the individual has not been a part of the Religious Education Program at OLMC, we will need a copy of their Baptismal Certificate.
Flag Day Monday, June 14 On June 14, 1777, the Second Continental Congress passed the Flag Resolution which stated: "Resolved, that the flag of the thirteen United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation. Flag Day is now observed on June 14 of each year. While scholars still argue about this, tradition holds that the new flag was first hoisted in June 1777 by the Continental Army at the Middlebrook encampment. The first official U.S. flag flown during battle was on August 3, 1777, at Fort Schuyler (Fort Stanwix) during the Siege of Fort Stanwix. Massachusetts reinforcements brought news of the adoption by Congress of the official flag to Fort Schuyler. Soldiers cut up their shirts to make the white stripes; scarlet material to form the red was secured from red flannel petticoats of officers' wives, while material for the blue union was secured from Capt. Abraham Swartwout's blue cloth coat. A voucher is extant that Capt. Swartwout of Dutchess County was paid by Congress for his coat for the flag. Let Us Display our Flag Proudly! DZIEŃ OJCA W niedzielę 21 czerwca, Msze Święte sprawowane będą w intencjach wszystkich ojców. W ten sposób, będziemy mogli upamiętnić również naszych ojców. Koperty na Msze św. zostały wysłane w pakiecie, jak również możemy je znaleźć przy wyjściu z kościoła. Przy bocznym ołtarzu zapłoną czerwone świece, które będzie można zamówić przy bocznych drzwiach kościoła. Czerwiec to miesiąc w sposób szczególny poświęcony czci Najświętszego Serca Pana Jezusa. Nabożeństwa Czerwcowe - czwartek po Mszy Świętej o 7:00 PM oraz po każdej Mszy Świętej o 8:00 AM w dni powszednie. Grupa młodzieżowa zaprasza wszystkich uczniów szkół średnich!!! Spotkania odbywają się w każdy piątek o 6:30 PM w centrum parafialnym, drugie piętro, również podczas wakacji. Jest to grupa angielskojęzyczna, której opiekunem jest Matthew Strzała. Memorial Day to początek sezonu letniego. Jak mamy w zwyczaju, przez okres letni kancelaria parafialna będzie nieczynna w piątki. Wszelkie sprawy w tym dniu załatwiane będą po wcześniejszym umówieniu. Parafia św. Michała/św. Józefa, która rozporządza mieniem po zmarłym Ks. Gerrym urządza wyprzedaż książek w języku angielskim, płyt CD oraz DVD, które należały do niego. Wyprzedaż będzie miała miejsce w weekend 20 21 czerwca. Kolejne losowanie w naszej parafialnej loterii będzie miało miejsce w poniedziałek, 15 czerwca. Kolejny szczęściarz wzbogaci się o $1000. W puli zostało jeszcze $10000. Jeśli ktoś chciałby jeszcze dołączyć do losowań może to zrobić poprzez wypełnienie formularza znajdującego się przy wyjściach z kościoła i zwrócenie go do biura parafialnego.
