THE RESURECTION OF THE LORD Niech będzie pochwalony Jezus Chrystus! Chrystus zmartwychwstał! Prawdziwie zmartwychwstał! Tak dzisiaj się pozdrawiamy, bo jest to radość wielka, która daje nam wielkie nadzieje na naszą przyszłość, na życie wieczne. Poza tym Zmartwychwstanie Pana Jezusa popycha nas do życia tym faktem. Wszystko staje się nowe, odmienione, wszystko ma sens. Chcemy wyjść z grobów beznadziei, rozczarowań, zniechęcenia. Wiemy, że wszystko możemy w Tym, który nas umacnia! (Flp 4, 13) I chcemy spojrzeć w górę, w Niebo. Do tego zachęca nas dzisiaj Liturgia Słowa. Chcemy popatrzeć z góry, z perspektywy Zmartwychwstałego i naszego w Nim zmartwychwstania, na nasze życie, naszych bliskich, na to, co jeszcze takie przyziemne i na to, co w Niebie nie będzie miało żadnego znaczenia. Pytanie, które wato sobie postawić brzmi: czy należy tak zabiegać o rzeczy nieistotne dla ludzi żyjących zmartwychwstaniem? Pan Jezus Zmartwychwstały nam błogosławi, jak i Duch Święty unosi się nad naszą świątynią, bo już w najbliższą sobotę bierzmowanie. Dwoje kandydatów przyjmie w pełni dary Ducha Świętego. W pełni staną się dojrzałymi katolikami. Do grona ich się zaliczamy. Współpracujemy z darami Ducha Świętego, aby lepiej poznać Boga, o Nim świadczyć i dokonywać właściwych wyborów. No i za tydzień nasze święto Niedziela Bożego Miłosierdzia, gdzie nasze serca, dzięki spowiedzi i Komunii świętej mogą powrócić do stanu ze chrztu świętego. Wiele łask stoi przed nami otworem. Przeżyjmy ten czas jak najlepiej, bo Bóg dla każdego z nas ma przygotowane cuda swojej obecności, tak bliskiej, tak intymnej, tak pięknej. Żyjmy radością Zmartwychwstania, największym wydarzeniem w historii zbawienia! Ks. Robert Będziński On Divine Mercy Sunday, April 28, there will be only one Mass in Polish and English at 12:00 PM. APRIL 21 ST, 2019 Praised be Lord Jesus Christ! Christ rose from the dead! He is truly Resurrected! This is how we greet today because it is a great joy that gives us tremendous hope for our future and for eternal life. In addition, the Resurrection of Jesus pushes us to live out this fact. Everything becomes new, changed; everything makes sense. We want to depart from the graves of hopelessness, disappointments, discouragement. We know that "we can do all things in him who strengthens us!" (Phil 4, 13); and we want to look up to Heaven. To do this, the Liturgy of the Word encourages us today. We want to look "from above," from the perspective of the Risen Lord on our own resurrection, our lives, our loved ones, what is so mundane and what will not matter in Heaven. The question that should be asked is this: should we seek things that are irrelevant to people living in the Resurrection? The Lord Jesus is Risen and blesses us- -just as the Holy Spirit is descending upon our temple because Confirmation is coming this Saturday. The two candidates will fully receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit. They will become fully mature Catholics. We, too, receive this gift with them. We work with the gifts of the Holy Spirit to get to know God better, to witness to Him and make the right choices. And next week, our Feast Day--Sunday of Divine Mercy--where our hearts, thanks to Confession and Holy Communion, can return to the state of Baptism. Many graces are prepared for us. Let us live this time the best way we can because God has prepared for each of us the miracles of his presence, so close, so intimate, so beautiful. THE RESURECTION OF THE LORD Sr. Faustina sees the Resurrection of the Lord 205. + The Resurrection. Today, during the [Mass of the] Resurrection, I saw the Lord Jesus in the midst of a great light. He approached me and said, Peace be to you, My children, and He lifted up His hand and gave His blessing. The wounds in His hands, feet and side were indelible and shining. When he looked at me with such kindness and love, my whole soul drowned itself in Him. And he said to me, You have taken a great part in My Passion; therefore I now give you a great share in My joy and glory. The whole time of the Resurrection [Mass] seemed like only a minute to me. A wondrous recollection filled my soul and lasted throughout the whole festal season. The kindness of Jesus is so great that I cannot express it. 1668. The Resurrection. Before the Mass of the resurrection, I felt so weak that I lost all hope of participating in the procession which takes place in the church; and I said to the Lord, Jesus, if my prayers are pleasing to You, give me the strength for this moment that I may take part in the procession. At that same instant, I felt strong and certain that I could go along with the sisters in the procession. 1669. When the procession began, I saw Jesus in a brightness greater than the light of the sun. Jesus looked at me with love and said, Heart of My Heart, be filled with joy. At that moment my spirit was drowned in Him. When I came to myself, I was walking along in the procession with the sisters, while my soul was totally immersed in Him 1670. + Easter [April 17, 1938]. During Mass, I thanked the Lord Jesus for having deigned to redeem us and for having given us that greatest of all gifts; namely, His love in Holy Communion; that is, His very own Self. At that moment, I was drawn into the bosom of the Most Holy Trinity, and I was immersed in the love of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These moments are hard to describe. APRIL 21, 2019 ŚW. FAUSTYNA WIDZI ZMARTWYCHWSTAŁEGO PANA 205. W CZASIE REZUREKCJI ŚW. FAUSTYNA WIDZIAŁA PANA JEZUSAZMARTWYCHWSTAŁEGO + Rezurekcja. Dziś w czasie rezurekcji ujrzałam Pana Jezusa w wielkim blasku, Który zbliżył się do mnie i rzekł: - pokój wam dzieci moje i wzniósł rękę i błogosławił. Rany rąk i nóg i boku były niezatarte, ale jaśniejące. Kiedy się spojrzał na mnie z taka łaskawością i miłością, że dusza moja zatonęła cała w Nim i rzekł do mnie wzięłaś wielki udział w Męce Mojej, dlatego daje ci ten wielki udział w chwale i radości Mojej. Cała rezurekcja wydala mi się jedna minutą. Dziwne skupienie ogarnęło moja duszę i trwało przez całe święta. Łaskawość Jezusa jest tak wielka, że to nie da się wypowiedzieć. 1668. PAN JEZUS POZWOLIŁ ŚW. FAUSTYNIE UCZESTNICZYĆ W REZUREKCJI ` Rezurekcja. Przed Rezurekcją uczułam się tak słaba, że straciłam nadzieję, aby wziąć udział w procesji, która chodzi po kościele i rzekłam do Pana: Jezu, jeżeli Ci są miłe modlitwy moje, wzmocnij mnie na ten moment, abym mogła wziąć udział w procesji. W tej samej chwili uczułam się silna i pewna, że mogę iść razem z Siostrami 1669. ŚW. FAUSTYNA ZOBACZYŁA PANA JEZUSA ZMARTWYCHWSTAŁEGO Kiedy ruszyła procesja, ujrzałam Jezusa w jasności większej niżeli blask słońca. Jezus spojrzał na mnie z miłością i rzekł: serce Mojego Serca, napełnij się radością. - W tej samej chwili duch mój zatonął w Nim... Kiedy przyszłam do siebie, szłam razem z Siostrami w procesji, dusza moja cała była pogrążona w Nim... 1670. ŚW. FAUSTYNA OPISAŁA ŁASKĘ ZJEDNOCZENIA Z TRÓJCĄ PRZENAJŚWIETSZĄ + Wielkanoc. W czasie Mszy św. dziękowałam Panu Jezusowi, że raczył nas odkupić i zaten największy dar, to jest, że raczył nam dać Swą miłość w Komunii św., to jest Sam Siebie. Wtym samym momencie zostałam pociągnięta w łono Trójcy Przenajświętszej i pogrążonazostałam w miłości Ojca, Syna i Ducha Świętego. Tych momentów trudno opisać.

THE NEW ALTAR and IMPROVEMENTS in OUR SHRINE Plans are underway for the new altar in our shrine. With the financial support from many donors we have raised $40,000 to cover the cost of the altar. We also received a donation which will pay for the two statutes on either side of the altar. Currently the altar is being constructed in Poland and it will be sent here by ship. In the meantime, there is work to be done in preparation for the new altar. The masonry outside the church has been repaired as well as several small roof leaks. New gutters have been installed on the rectory. The inside walls behind the altar have been sealed and painted. The presbytery will have to be painted before the altar is installed. These repairs and renovations are costly and we need to raise funds for this purpose. You may also notice new insulated windows in the assembly room and the upper sacristy. These are a great improvement which will save on heating and cooling costs. There is also new fencing in front of the church. We are obtaining estimates for air conditioning in the upper church as well as installing a lift. We are also in the process of looking to reopen our school building. This is a daunting task as the building needs major renovations. There are many men in the shrine community who have offered their time and skills to complete these projects. We would only have to pay for materials. In order to have heat and water in the school the pipes need to be repaired. The Archdiocese will cover this cost through insurance; however, we must have the asbestos covering the pipes removed. Asbestos removal is also necessary on the boiler and in the cafeteria. The second collections are presently held for this reason. I am grateful to those who, through spiritual and physical help, engage in the development of our church and school buildings. We wish to have the shrine attract many people who will find spiritual fulfillment and become disciples sharing the word of Christ to others.
