WIND ENERGY PRESS RELEASE 11/2015

EN vortex energy continues to expand wind portfolio in Poland. BOŚ Bank makes 11th wind farm possible at short notice. 11-2015 Currently vortex energy is working full pelt in the centre of Poland to connect a total of eleven turbines with an overall capacity of 30.3 MW to the grid by the end of the year. The Jóźwin wind farm built with Max Bögl is on the home straight. The communities affected Kleczew (8 turbines of the type GE2.85) and Ślesin (1 turbine of the type GE2.5) are directly adjacent to the most recent project Nieświastów in the municipality Kazimierz Biskupi. At this location vortex energy is now constructing two further wind turbines of the type GE2.5 with a large 120-metre rotor, despite initial hurdles in the project s funding: The particular challenge of this small wind farm was to find a bank which was willing to handle such a small volume under the prevailing market conditions. After the failure of the first financing process we were grateful that the BOŚ Bank, with the dynamic support of the BOŚ Bank subsidiary BOŚ Eko-Profit, stepped into the breech at a late stage under considerable pressure of time and completed the process successfully with us, explained Dr. Till Jeske, CEO of vortex energy Holding AG. The small wind farm will be connected to the Jóźwin 110kV transformer station, which vortex energy is erecting under contract to Future Energy Sp. z o.o. Together with the grid operator Energa Operator the target date for the infeed from all turbines has been set as the end of 2015. After the commissioning, vortex energy will take over the technical and commercial management as well as the commercial balancing including electricity sales for own energy consumption. The project Nieświastów will increase vortex energy s installed wind capacity to a total of more than 340 MW. The eco-power thus generated of more than 990 GWh will supply annually a calculated 300,000 homes and with cut 525,038 tonnes of CO2.

PL vortex energy rozszerza portfolio siłowni wiatrowych w Polsce. 11-2015 Aktualnie vortex energy pracuje pełną parą, by do końca roku wznieść w centrum Polski w sumie 11 instalacji o łącznej wydajności 30,3 MW i podłączyć je do sieci. Prowadzone działania dotyczą dwóch projektów Jóźwin i Nieświastów. Wraz z operatorem sieci Energa Operator vortex stara się, by wszystkie instalacje zostały podłączone do końca roku 2015. Wytworzone ponad 990 GWh ekologicznego prądu zasili corocznie 300 tyś. gospodarstw domowych i odciąży środowisko o 525 038 ton CO2.
