MARRIAGE: Arrangement must be made with one of the priests at least six months before the date of the wedding. Confirm desired date at the church before making other arrangements. At least one of the engaged persons (or their parents) must be a registered and active parishioner of St. Priscilla. Weddings are not scheduled on Sunday. Maciej s Message Good Shepherd Sunday, which we celebrate today in the Catholic Church, is not just the image of Jesus wearing a shepherd s hat on his head, with a curly lamb hanging over his shoulders, against an idyllic landscape with the setting sun. Rather, it is a specific reality connected with tending a flock, which required and requires above all, the patience and the ability to wait, as well as an unfailing dose of courage. And there is also a place for sacrifice, because the Good Shepherd, unlike an irresponsible mercenary, knows his sheep and is willing to defend them even for the price of his life because he has a sense of responsibility for them, he cares for them, he simply loves them. Let us pray, especially today, for new, multiple and holy vocations to priestly, religious, missionary and monastic life. Remember that in our parish every first Thursday of the month, before the morning and evening Masses, we pray for this intention during a special devotion. Please join us. I strongly believe that God did not cease to call men and women to serve in His Church, but rather we humans stopped listening and recognizing His voice. Let's try again in this cacophony of voices, advertisements, offers and temptations to learn to recognize a voice that is not charactarized by power, or even by the media s inventiveness - and yet tells us something we really need to hear. Macieja Niedziela Dobrego Pasterza, którą obchodzimy dzisiaj w Kościele, to nie obraz Pana Jezusa w pasterskim kapelusiku na głowie, z przewieszoną przez ramiona kędzierzawą owieczką, na tle idyllicznego krajobrazu z zachodzącym słońcem. To raczej konkretna rzeczywistość związana z pasterską profesją, która wymagała i wymaga przede wszystkim cierpliwości i umiejętności czekania, a także niezbędnej dozy odwagi. I jest tam również miejsce dla ofiarności, bo Dobry pasterz w odróżnieniu od nieodpowiedzialnego najemnika zarówno zna swoje owce, jak i gotów jest ich bronić za cenę życia, ponieważ ma poczucie odpowiedzialności za nie, zależy mu na nich, po prostu je kocha. Módlmy się dzisiaj szczególnie o nowe, liczne i święte powołania kapłańskie, zakonne, misyjne i pustelnicze. Pamiętajcie, że w naszej parafii w każdy I czwartek miesiąca przed poranną i wieczorną Eucharystią podczas specjalnego nabożeństwa modlimy się właśnie w tej intencji. Proszę, przychodźcie. Wierzę mocno, że Pan Bóg wcale nie przestał powoływać mężczyzn i kobiet do służby w Jego Kościele, to raczej my ludzie przestaliśmy Go słuchać i rozpoznawać Jego głos. Spróbujmy na nowo w tej kakofonii głosów, reklam, ofert i pokus nauczyć się rozpoznawać głos, który raczej nie wyróżnia się siłą, ani nawet medialną wynalazczością a jednak mówi nam coś, co naprawdę powinniśmy usłyszeć. Dobrzy będą męczeni, Ojciec Święty będzie bardzo cierpieć, wiele narodów zostanie zniszczonych, na koniec zatriumfuje moje Niepokalane Serce. Ojciec Święty poświęci mi Rosję, która się nawróci, a dla świata nastanie okres pokoju.
