Our Parish School: We are part of an excellent co-sponsored elementary school: All Saints Academy. For information call: 201-443-8384 Religious Education For Children: CCD classes are held every Sunday from September through April at 9:15 am. Classes are conducted in our school building. Confessions: Daily Monday to Saturday following the 7:00 am Mass. Saturday afternoons at 3:30 pm. Sacrament Of The Sick: Sick Calls or other Emergency Calls should be made to the rectory at any time. Arrangements can also be made for regular visitations at home or hospital for Holy Communion and/or Confession. We urge you to keep us aware of parishioners who are ill in the hospital or at home. Marriages: Please make arrangements at least one year in advance. Couples are urged to solemnize their vows at a Nuptial Mass. Baptisms: The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated each month on the First Sunday (in English) and on the Third Sunday (in Polish). A required Baptismal Program for Parents is conducted at 1:00 pm on the second Sunday of the month in Polish and on the last Sunday in English. Novenas: Every Tuesday Evening to Saint Anne following the 7:00 pm Mass. Every Thursday Evening to Divine Mercy following the 7:00 pm Mass. Jezus zwyciężył, to wykonało się... Jezus jest Panem, Alleluja!!! Z okazji Świąt Zmartwychwstania Pańskiego, pragniemy życzyć Wam, aby ten czas był czasem przemiany serc. Aby udział w Tajemnicach Męki, Śmierci i Zmartwychwstania Chrystusa ożywiał wiarę, dawał nadzieję i umacniał miłość. Życzymy Wam, aby Zmartwychwstanie dokonało się w Waszych sercach i aby dokonywało się każdego dnia. Jego Eminencja Ksiądz Kardynał. Stanisław Dziwisz Metropolita Krakowski, były sekretarz bł. Jana Pawła II, będzie gościł w naszej parafii. W czwartek 5 lipca 2012 roku będzie celebrował w naszym koscielę Mszę św. Już dziś serdecznie zapraszmy do udziału w tej małej uroczystości. Bliższe informację zostaną podane w najbliższym czasie. Zmartwychwstanie Jezusa z Nazaretu jest fundamentem naszej wiary. "Jeśli Chrystus nie zmartwychwstał, daremne jest nasze nauczanie, próżna jest także wasza wiara" - powie Apostoł Narodów św. Paweł (1Kor 15,14). Każda ludzka nadzieja ostatecznie czerpie z faktu, że grób Chrystusa pozostał pusty. TRZECIEGO DNIA ZMARTWYCHWSTAŁ! Fundamentalna prawda "Głosimy wam Dobrą Nowinę o obietnicy danej ojcom: że Bóg spełnił ją wobec nas jako ich dzieci, wskrzesiwszy Jezusa" (Dz 13:32-33). Zmartwychwstanie Chrystusa jest kulminacyjną prawdą naszej wiary w Chrystusa. Pierwsza wspólnota chrześcijańska wierzyła w nią i przeżywała ją jako prawdę centralną, przekazaną przez Tradycję, jako prawdę fundamentalną, potwierdzoną przez pisma Nowego Testamentu, przepowiadaną jako część istotna Misterium Paschalnego tak samo jak Krzyż: Chrystus zmartwychwstał, Przez śmierć swoją zwyciężył śmierć, Dał życie zmarłym, (Liturgia bizantyjska, Troparion Wielkiej Nocy), WYDARZENIE HISTORYCZNE I TRANSCENDENTNE Misterium Zmartwychwstania Chrystusa jest wydarzeniem rzeczywistym, które posiadało potwierdzone historycznie znaki,jak świadczy o tym Nowy Testament. Już około 56 r. św. Paweł może napisać do Koryntian: "Przekazałem wam na początku to, co przejąłem: że Chrystus umarł - zgodnie z Pismem - za nasze grzechy, że został pogrzebany, że zmartwychwstał trzeciego dnia, zgodnie z Pismem; i że ukazał się Kefasowi, a potem Dwunastu".(1 Kor 15,3-4) Apostoł mówi tu o ż ywej tradycji Zmartwychwstania, którą przejął po swoim nawróceniu pod Damaszkiem (por. Dz 9:3-18). Pusty grób: "Dlaczego szukacie zyjącego wśród umarłych? Nie ma Go tutaj; zmartwychwstał". (Łk 24:5-6). Pierwszym elementem w ramach wydarzeń paschalnych jest pusty grób. Nie jest to sam w sobie bezpośredni dowód. Nieobecność ciała Chrystusa w grobie można by wytłumaczyć inaczej (por. J 20:13; Mt 28:11-15). Mimo to pusty grób stanowił dla wszystkich istotny znak. Jego odkrycie przez uczniów było pierwszym krokiem w kierunku rozpoznania samego faktu zmartwychwstania Chrystusa. Najpierw miało to miejsce w przypadku pobożnych kobiet (por. Łk 24:3. 22-23), a potem Piotra (por. Łk 24:12). Uczeń, "którego Jezus kochał" (J 20:2), stwierdza, że wchodząc do pustego grobu i widząc "leżące płótna" (J 20:6), "ujrzał i uwierzył" (J 20:8). Zakłada to, że widząc pusty grób (por. J 20:5-7), uznał, iż nieobecność ciała Jezusa nie mogła być dziełem ludzkim i że Jezus nie powrócił po prostu do życia ziemskiego, jak stało się w przypadku Łazarza (por. J 11:44).cdn
