Seminars- 10 hours, practical classes- 45 hours. The course ends with graded credit. Each practical class consists of self-studied knowledge repetition as well as particular practical tasks performance. Each student is obliged to prepare him/herself for every class regarding the theoretical issues relevant to the topic, as scheduled in the programme. 1
1. According to the University senate resolution no. 124/2014, all the lectures as well as all the practical classes attendance is found obligatory. The classes are organized within the groups established at the Dean's Office. 2. Class test will be organized during each practical class. Each test will consist of 5 questions, 1 point for each correct answer. The scores achieved on each test will be summated at the end of semester. This is required to get min. 60% of the whole possible scoring in order to get the credit. The questions are based on the information from the textbook and valid presentations, if delivered before the relevant class. Textbook sections valid for particular classes are to be found in the course programme which is a separate document available on the Department website (please see above). In case of any controversies, no sources other than these pointed in General rules will be respected. This refers also to the presentations from the previous courses. 3. Two partial tests will be arranged during the semester. The first partial test will contain basic immunology issues, the second partial test will contain clinical immunology issues. Each test will comprise of 35 questions, 1 point for each correct answer. The total score achieved on each test will be converted into grading system. 60% correctness is required to get the lowest positive grade 3,0. The will be no possibility to retake passed test in order to improve grading. 4. Each student is obliged to download the relevant practical protocol and fulfill this during the practical class. Fulfilled protocols are to be submitted to the teacher for his/her approval. Protocol approval results in receiving the credit for the relevant practical class. 5. During the course student will be obliged to give an oral presentation on the given topic. This presentation will be graded. 6. Student s activity during the practical classes and seminars will be independently evaluated by the teacher. 2 Sposób i formy wyrównywania zaległości, w tym odrabiania zajęć na skutek nieobecności Compensation mode for missed and failed activities (absences including) Each absence must be documented and justified. Relevant certificate must be provided as soon as possible, during the first class following the absence, latest. 1. Absences at the seminars will be compensated with an essay related to the lecture topic. 2. Absences at the practical classes will be compensated as the practical part performance. 3. Each student will be entitled to three terms of the partial tests: 1 st term as scheduled in the course programme, 2 nd term within the two following weeks, 3 rd term at the end of semester. Failure at the 3 rd term will result in credit refusal. 4. As the University Rules&Regulations indicate, every sort of test is allowed to be taken three times. 5. Unjustified absence at the partial test will result in a negative grade. 6. Justification of the absence at the partial test must be delivered within 1 week following the test date. Skipped delivery of justification within the required period will result in negative grade. 7. The results of the partial tests will be displayed within three working days following the test date. 8. According to the Rector s ordinance no. 45/2018 each student is entitled to inspect his/her answer sheet within 7 working days following the results display. 2
9. Absences compensations will be held under the following conditions: if possible, with another group within the same topic cycle obligatory, at the end of the winter semester 10. In case of absence rate over 50% no retakes opportunities will be provided and this will result in the exclusion from the final test and credit refusal. 11. Punctuality is required during the course. Each student noted with three fold late will have to prepare an additional presentation on the topic chosen by the teacher and give this to the group during the classes. 12. In case of the summated scoring of the small tests below 60% of the maximal scoring, the student will be obliged to take an additional test at the end of semester. 60% correctness will be required to pass this test. 3 Warunki i sposoby dopuszczania studentów do zaliczeń i egzaminów Requirements for course completion in order to sit the credit of exam Not applicable. 4 Zasady dopuszczające studenta do poszczególnych zajęć w danym roku akademickim Principles of attending classes during the academic year Not applicable. 5 Warunki i sposoby przeprowadzania zaliczeń przedmiotu i egzaminów Forms of credits, exams The final credit will be given under the following conditions: confirmed participation in all seminars. passing all practical classes understood as: min. 60% of maximal summated scoring from the small tests, all practical protocols approval positive grade at two partial tests positive grade for the presentation required to pass relevant topics positive grade for the activity during the practical classes The final grading of the course credit will be calculated as the average of grades from the partial tests, the grade for oral presentation and the grade for activity. 6 Warunki zwalniania z niektórych zaliczeń lub egzaminów Circumstances of exemption from credits or exams No exemptions from the partial tests will be provided. 3

Scoring criteria and the grading are following: <21 pts- 2,0 (insufficient), 21-23 pts.-3,0 (sufficient), 24-26 pts.-3,5 (quite good), 27-29 pts.-4,0 (good), 30-32pts.-4,5 (more than good), 33-35 pts.- 5,0 (very good). 9 Inne Other 1. All the cases which have not been covered by these regulations will be proceeded upon an individual request. The request ought to be written and submitted to the secretary of the Department within not more than 7 days since the unregulated situation appeared. 2. According to the Rector's ordinance no. 71/2012, this is strictly forbidden to use any electronic devices which enable either to communicate or to scan the contents of the test. Each student who is noted with using any of these, will be automatically disclosed from the test and will obtain a negative grade with no retake opportunities.
