Eucharistic Days (40 hours) take place in November 23 25. The closing ceremony will be Sunday, November 25 at 4:00 PM Main Celebrant The Most Reverend Manuel A. Cruz Vespers and Benediction. There are many hours available for Eucharistic Adoration. In particular, we will have all night Adoration: Friday night from 8:00 PM until Saturday 7:15 AM. Saturday from 9 AM 4:45 PM And from 6PM until 8 AM next Day Sunday 1PM until closing Adoration. Please sign up this weekend for an hour during that night or for one of the other adoration times. Come spend an hour with the Lord Jesus.
Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to gather with family and friends and reflect on the blessings of the last year. Many of us experience renewed hope and faith during the Thanksgiving holiday because we turn our eyes onto what is most important. What if we spent time each day in giving thanks and prayer? How could God grow out faith and trust if we lived a life of thanks through all seasons and not just Thanksgiving time? When your heart is filled with gratitude, there is little room to worry or complain. I will give thanks to the LORD because of His righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High. O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens (Psalm 7:17-18:1). In Jesus name, amen." The church office will be closed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, for the Thanksgiving holidays. Mass on Thanksgiving Day will be celebrated at 9:00 AM at Mt Carmel Church. Masses on Friday: At Mt Carmel Church: 8:00AM Polish 8:30AM English We wish all parishioners and their families a very happy Thanksgiving and thank God for all the blessings he has bestowed on us. Fr Zenon SDS Pastor, Superior Fr Pawel SDS; Fr Lukasz, SDS Święto Dziękczynienia (Thanksgiving Day) obchodzone jest na pamiątkę pierwszego dziękczynienia założycieli angielskiej kolonii w Plymouth, którzy przybyli do Nowej Anglii na statku Mayflower 21 listopada, 1620 r, jako grupa 102 purytan z Anglii. Pierwsi osadnicy niewiele wiedzieli o nowym kraju. Podczas pierwszej zimy ponieśli wielkie straty i wielu z nich zmarło z głodu. Wspomnienie świętej Cecylii, dziewicy i męczennicy, patronki muzyki kościelnej 22 listopada. Panu Daylowi, naszemu organiście oraz wszystkim osobom śpiewającym w chórze, dziękujemy za posługę i życzymy błogosławieństwa Bożego i opieki świętej Cecylii!
