Our Parish School: We are part of an excellent co-sponsored elementary school: All Saints Academy. For information call: Religious Education For Children: CCD classes are held every Sunday from September through April at 9:15 am. Classes are conducted in our school building. Confessions: Daily Monday to Saturday following the 7:00 am Mass. Saturday afternoons at 3:30 pm. Sacrament Of The Sick: Sick Calls or other Emergency Calls should be made to the rectory at any time. Arrangements can also be made for regular visitations at home or hospital for Holy Communion and/or Confession. We urge you to keep us aware of parishioners who are ill in the hospital or at home. Marriages: Please make arrangements at least one year in advance. Couples are urged to solemnize their vows at a Nuptial Mass. Baptisms: The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated each month on the First Sunday (in English) and on the Third Sunday (in Polish). A required Baptismal Program for Parents is conducted at 1:00 pm on the second Sunday of the month in Polish and on the last Sunday in English. Novenas: Every Tuesday Evening to Saint Anne following the 7:00 pm Mass. Every Thursday Evening to Divine Mercy following the 7:00 pm Mass. In our Catholic tradition, we remember in a special way all of our deceased relatives and friends. Here at Mt. Carmel, we have Special Masses during the day on Nov. 2. To enroll your loved ones, please use the envelopes included in your envelope packets. (Extra envelopes are found at the entrances of the church.) The envelopes will be collected this Sunday, but also may be placed in any collection or mailed to the rectory before Nov. 1. All Souls Candles will be available the next two weekends. The Steeple Campaign Many Thanks to all who have already responded to our Save the Steeples Campaign! The first of the special collections will be taken up on the weekend of Oct. 27, If you are choosing a 5 payment plan, that weekend would be the first of your donations. If you are not able to pledge $ , then any amount would be appreciated. Additional information letters are found at the church entrances. Please include your name and envelope number on the donation so that we may record it for your TAX purposes. 4 Good News! Our Parish Picnic realized a profit of : $ 12, Many thanks to those who attended. The greatest profit was the happy memories people took home that day. Good Job! Our congratulations to our Girl Scouts, led by Christine Peters and Cindy Weaver! They decorated the city of Bayonne with pink ribbons to bring our attention to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our Thanks to Fr. Robert and the Rosary Society for coordinating the Fatima Novena. It was a great spiritual blessing to Mt. Carmel. The closing procession was very moving and the reception hosted by the Rosary Society brought together all in fellowship. Thank You! The Parish Thanks the members of the Rosary Society for donating the new Marian Cope. This cope will be in special use during the months of October and May for the Marian Devotions. Dziękujemy ks. Robertowi i Rosary Society za przerowadzenie Nowenny Fatimskiej. Był to błogosławiony czas dla naszej parafii. Procesja światła zamykająca nowennę była bardzo pięka i wzruszająca. Dziekujęmy za poczęstunek przygotowany przez Rosary Society. Polska Szkola Im. Wł. Reymonta w Bayonne serdecznie zaprasza na Jubileuszowy Bankiet z okazji 20 lecia istnienia szkoły. Sobota 20 pażdziernika, 2012 w Centrum Parafialnym przy Kościele Matki Bożej Szkaplerznej. Bilety w cenie $50 od osoby można zakupić u Barbary Wawiorko lub u Kamilli Domanski Gra zespół Solina. ROK WIARY W 50. rocznicę otwarcia Soboru Watykańskiego II, 11 października 2012 r., rozpocznie się w całym Kościele Rok Wiary. Potrwa on do 24 listopada 2013 r., czyli do Niedzieli Chrystusa Króla. Benedykt XVI w Liście "Porta Fidei" ogłaszającym to wydarzenie określił je jako czas zintensyfikowanej refleksji na temat wiary". Ma on posłużyć "wszystkim wierzącym w Chrystusa w stawaniu się bardziej świadomymi i ożywić ich przywiązanie do Ewangelii, zwłaszcza w okresie głębokich przemian, jaki ludzkość przeżywa obecnie. RENOWACJA WIEŻ Dziękujemy wszystkim, którzy już odpowiedziali na nasz apel! Nasza pierwsza specjalna kolekta Steeple Weekend będzie w niedzielę, 27 października. Jeżeli wybrałeś frome darowizny w pięciu ratach, będzie to pierwszy weeked składki.jeżeli ktoś ma możliwość ofiarowania wyższej sumy, będziemy bardzo wdzięczni, gdyż zdajemy sobie sprawę, że w dzisiejszych czasach nie każdy ma możliwość ofiarowania pełnej sumy. Każda ofiara będzie wielkim wsparciem Dodatkowe informacje znajdują się przy wejściach z kościoła. Na kopertach prosimy podać nazwisko i numer koperty w celu zapisania darowizny, którą będzie można odliczyć od podatku. Dzięki wszystkim za hojność! W naszej katolickiej tradycji listopad jest miesiącem poświęconym pamięci zmarłych. W tym szczególnym czasie pamiętamy o naszych zmarłych krewnych i przyjaciołach. W naszej parafii 2 listopada mamy zwyczaj odprawiania Mszy św., które są nowenną za zmarłych. Koperty na ten cel zostały wysłane do Państwa w pakiecie, a dodatkowe znajdują się przy wyjściu z kościoła. Koperty prosimy zwrócic podczas niedzielnej składki lub wysłac do kancelarii parafialnej przed 1 listopada. Wotywne świece dostępne beda w następnych dwa tygodnie.
