The purpose of this week is to help the students develop an awareness of the dangers of drugs, to learn to make good choices and to stay drug free. We began our Red Ribbon Week by attending Mass and we prayed that our students would always be safe and drug free. At Mass Father blessed ribbons that the students would wear throughout the week. Our theme this year is Respect Yourself. Be Drug Free. During the week the students will participate in different activities. Please keep our students in your prayers, so that they will grow-up to be drug free and are able to make good choices. 2 ND GRADE NEWS We have had a fun and exciting beginning to the school year. This year 2 nd grade along with other grades, were the recipients of a Promethean board as well as an air conditioner. Both of these items have made the classroom a fun and cool place to be. We have used the Promethean board to do our reading lessons as well as play review games for Math and Language Arts! Students love coming up to the Promethean board to play the games or write down an answer. 2 nd grade will have a very busy year learning and preparing for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. We will be learning about these sacraments all year long. The children are already excited about preparing for these two important sacraments THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING 8th GRADE Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy our Class of 2016 Pasta Dinner, and for those who gave donations. Thank you so much for your support of our 8 th grade class. PANCAKE BREAKFAST On November 1 st 2015 the St. William Youth Group will have a Pancake Breakfast after each Mass in Liebrich hall.
