Admission procedure application to Vice-Chancellor for Education Candidates/Foreigners applying for admittance to the 1st year of study are required to submit the following documents: 1. personal data form; 2. a letter of application to the Vice-Chancellor for Education (Prorektor ds. studenckich) in the case of persons applying for admission on terms and conditions other than those applicable to Polish citizens ; 3. Polish secondary school graduation certificate or foreign secondary school graduation certificate legalised or certified by an apostille; 4. Polish translation of the secondary school graduation certificate prepared by a sworn translator entered on the list of certified translators of the Polish Ministry of Justice (http://bip.ms.gov.pl/pl/rejestry-i-ewidencje/tlumacze-przysiegli/listatlumaczyprzysieglych/ search.html), or certified by a Polish consul in the country where the certificate was obtained; 5. certificate stating the equivalence of a foreign secondary school graduation certificate with the relevant Polish certificate issued pursuant to the regulations on the recognition of school certificates and secondary school graduation certificates obtained abroad, submitted by the end of the first semester of studies; 6. document evidencing the Polish origin, pursuant to the Repatriation Act of 09.11.2000 (Polish Journal of Laws Dz.U. of 2004, No. 53(532) as amended) this does not apply to persons holding a valid Karta Polaka (Polish Card); 7. medical certificate, with its Polish translation prepared by a sworn translator, stating that
there are no contraindications for the candidate to study in the chosen field; 8. copy of an identity document (identity card, passport); 9. valid visa or residence card (karta pobytu), or other document entitling the holder to reside in the Republic of Poland; 10. health insurance policy and personal accident insurance policy for the duration of study in Poland, or the European Health Insurance Card, or insurance with the National Health Fund (NFZ) in Poland taken immediately after commencing education in Poland; 11. 1 coloured photograph (35 x 45 mm, in accordance with the requirements of issuing identity cards) + 1 photograph on a disc (digital format: JPEG/TIFF/BMP, minimal resolution: 235 x 296, maximal resolution: 6000 x 6000, maximal size: 5MB); 12. confirmation of the payment of 50 EUR entrance fee and the tuition fee for a given year of study in the amount decided by the university (not lower than 1500 EUR) to the bank account of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (this concerns fee-paying students): Bank Zachodni WBK SA 33 1090 1362 0000 0001 3278 6768 tytułem: imię i nazwisko IBAN: PL33 1090 1362 0000 0001 3278 6768 SWIFT: WBKPPLPP The fee is paid in the Polish Zloty, and it is calculated based on the Euro exchange rate published by Narodowy Bank Polski on the date of payment. The persons holding a document evidencing their Polish origin, are entitled to a 30% tuition fee reduction. After the enrollment closes, candidates should wait for the decision from the university. Foreigners starting their university education in Poland are required to hold a visa, residence card (karta pobytu) or another document entitling them to stay in the Republic of Poland.
