A wszystko to razem stanowi o efekcie końcowym, czyli o pooperacyjnej funkcjonalności ręki pacjenta. Aby ułatwić państwu wybór i zastosowanie najlepszych metod i materiałów wykorzystywanych w chirurgii ręki, chcemy zorganizować specjalny kurs, na którym grupa doświadczonych referentów omówi aktualne procedury w zaopatrzeniu fraktur ręki i nadgarstka. Serdecznie zapraszamy! Dr. Mariusz Bonczar 2
Foreword Dear Colleagues, dear Friends, Any simple and complex hand and wrist injuries bring challenges of both medical and technical nature. The development of new technologies and material in this branch continues to be substantial. Methods of treatment, ostheosyntetic material as well as concepts of follow-up treatments are changing and all of those have a crucial effect on the final result i.e. the functionality of a patient s hand. In order to facilitate the choice and application of methods and material used in surgery, we would like to offer you a course in which a group of experienced faculties will discuss current procedures in fracture treatment. After the theoretical part, we will move onto practical exercises on natural anatomic specimens, in which you will be assisted by a group of leading instructors. Our courses organised in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Italy enjoy great popularity and appreciation of all participants and we are thrilled to organise our first course in Poland, in Poznan. We hope very much that this course will pique your interest and that you polish specialists in the field of hand & wrist will participate in large numbers. We look forward to a good and fruitful cooperation and to welcoming you in Poznan soon! Yours faithfully, Prim. Dr. Wolfgang Hintringer IBRA Präsident 3

Notes Polish Society of Surgery of the Hand (PTCR) Polskie Towarzystwo Chirurgii Ręki (PTChR) zrzesza lekarzy dla których schorzenia i obrażenia kończyny górnej to pasja, hobby oraz wyzwanie terapeutyczne. Organizacji AChR w Gdańsku sprzyja dogodna lokalizacja, znakomita baza naukowa i zaplecze jednego z najnowocześniejszych Bloków Operacyjnych w Polsce Podmiotu Leczniczego Copernicus. 5
