The Lord Jesus is still calling generous young men and women to serve the church as Priests and Religious. Jesus Himself commanded us to pray for harvesters for the fields. Please make a special effort to include this intention in your personal prayers. Also, we have been blessed in our parish by the help of the Priests from the Society of the Divine Savior (Salvatorians.) Their seminary in Bagno Poland has 110 men in formation. As all institutions, they have many needs. On the weekend of May 12 we will take up a free will offering to support their seminary. There will be baskets at all the church entrances. Please make an offering from the kindness of your heart. Thank You! Good News! Bishop Joseph A Galante has called Donald William Rogozenski, who was baptized in our parish, to the Order of Deacon. W Kościele ciągle na nowo rozbrzmiewa wołanie Chrystusa: Proście więc Pana żniwa, aby posłał robotników na żniwo swoje!" (Mt 9, 38). BELIEVING IN JESUS CHRIST Throughout the Easter season, all three of the Sunday readings are taken from the New Testament the Christian scriptures. Together they explore what it means to believe in Jesus as the Christ, the One who fulfilled the prophecies of the Jewish scriptures. Today s selections refer to our human weakness, yet they emphasize the forgiveness and peace that are available to those who put their faith in Jesus Christ the righteous one (1 John 2:2). In the Acts of the Apostles Peter invites everyone to repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be wiped away (Acts 3:19). The First Letter of John calls Jesus Christ expiation for our sins (1 John 2:2). Finally, in the Gospel Jesus greets the disciples with Peace and urges them to preach repentance, for the forgiveness of sins (Luke 24:47). Mt. 201 436 2244.

KONSTYTUCJA 3 MAJA Koło Nowej Polonii w Bayonne serdecznie zaprasza do wzięcia udziału w uroczystych obchodach 218. Rocznicy Uchwalenia Konstytucji 3 Maja Uroczystość odbędzie się w niedzielę, 3 maja 2009 roku 10:00 AM - Wywieszenie Polskiej flagi przed Ratuszem w Bayonne. Najświętsza Maryja Panna z Góry Karmel i Szkaplerz Karmelitański Obietnice Matki Bożej dla noszących Szkaplerz? 1. - zapytał go Bóg. - Obiecujesz? - Tak. - A zatem żyj. I rzeczywiście, wyzdrowiał i wstąpił do Zakonu Premonstratensów (Norbertanów). Po życiu pełnym budujących uczynków oddał swą duszę Bogu. Tak głoszą kroniki tego zakonu.
