For information call: 201-443-8384 Religious Education For Children: CCD classes are held every Sunday from September through April at 9:15 am. Classes are conducted in our school building. Confessions: Daily Monday to Saturday following the 7:00 am Mass. Saturday afternoons at 3:30 pm. Sacrament Of The Sick: Sick Calls or other Emergency Calls should be made to the rectory at any time. Arrangements can also be made for regular visitations at home or hospital for Holy Communion and/or Confession. We urge you to keep us aware of parishioners who are ill in the hospital or at home. Marriages: Please make arrangements at least one year in advance. Couples are urged to solemnize their vows at a Nuptial Mass. Baptisms: The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated each month on the First Sunday (in English) and on the Third Sunday (in Polish). A required Baptismal Program for Parents is conducted at 1:00 pm on the second Sunday of the month in Polish and on the last Sunday in English. Or make reservations at the March 18 meeting. Fr. Gregory s father, Kazimierz Podsiadło, passed away on Feb. 11, 2013. Fr. Gregory celebrated the funeral Mass in Poland. It is a long tradition in the church to offer a Month s Mind Mass 30 days after the death of a loved one. On Monday, March 11 at 6:00 PM, a Mass will be celebrated for Fr. Gregory's father. In 2013 we have begun a new service to our parishioners. The Easter Vigil Mass will no longer have limited intentions. Everyone may list their loved ones for prayer during the Easter Vigil Mass. There is a special envelope in your envelope packets by which you may include your loved ones for remembrance. Please deposit the envelope in any Sunday collection or forward it to the Parish Office. Właściwie wszystko. Kiedy spotkam kogoś pierwszy raz, w mojej wyobraźni spontanicznie powstaje jego obraz. Myślę sobie na przykład: Co za czarujący uśmiech, to musi być superczłowiek. Te intuicje są najczęściej błędne. Podobnie rzecz ma się z Bogiem. Człowiek nie wymyśla, nie tworzy Boga, ale Go odkrywa. Tworzy sobie jednak jakiś obraz Boga. Najczęściej daleki od prawdy. Pisze Martin Buber: Bóg to słowo najbardziej obciążone ze wszystkich ludzkich słów. Żadne inne nie zostało aż tak skalane Ludzie rysują karykaturalne maski i kładą podpis: oto jest nasz Bóg; mordują się nawzajem i wołają, że czynią to w imię Boże. Droga rozwoju wiary to oczyszczanie obrazu Boga, to wytrwałe odkrywanie Boga żywego. Wiara nie jest zbiorem subiektywnych wizji, przeczuć czy intuicji. Wiara chrześcijańska jest odpowiedzią na Boże objawienie. Wierzymy w Boga, który objawiał nam swoje oblicze. Gdzie konkretnie? W historii Izraela (Stary Testament) i w historii Jezusa Chrystusa (Nowy Testament).
