1 CONFERENCE VENUE SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF THE CONFERENCE 1.5 The conference shall cover various aspects related to the subject of by-product metals: European policy on secondary materials, characteristics of by-product metals (As, Co, Ni, Pb, Re, Bi, Sb, Se, Te, Cd, precious metals and others) in ores and concentrates, behaviour of by-product metals in metallurgical and hydrometallurgical treatment of base metal concentrates, by-product metals as impurities in base metals methods for removal and refi ning, economics of by-product metals recovery, environmental protection in recovery of by-product metals, new compounds and alloys based on by-product metals, refractory metals production and applications, The 3 rd seminar on production and application of rhenium and its compounds will take place during the conference.
