Żeromskiego w Bielsku-Białej SCENARIUSZ 2 - lekcja nakierowana na zadawanie i odpowiadanie na tzw. personal questions CEL OGÓLNY: Doskonalenie sprawności mówienia, rozumienia ze słuchu, pisania i rozumienia tekstu czytanego. CELE OPERACYJNE (SZCZEGÓŁOWE): 1. Wiadomości Uczeń: zna podstawowe słówka związane z członkami rodziny, potrafi odpowiedzieć na proste pytania w czasie teraźniejszym, potrafi zadawać proste pytania dotyczące rodziny, 2. Umiejętności Uczeń: w zakresie sprawności rozumienia tekstu słuchanego odczytuje znaczenie wypowiedzi w stopniu pozwalającym mu na selekcję określonych informacji, odpowiada na pytania szczegółowe dotyczące rodziny, 3. Cele wychowawcze: rozwijanie postawy aktywizującej podczas lekcji, kształcenie umiejętności aktywnej współpracy w parach i w małych grupach, poznawanie różnych modeli rodziny. CZAS TRWANIA: 1 godzina dydaktyczna METODY I FORMY PRACY: praca indywidualna, w parach i w małych grupach TOPIC: Are you married? LEVEL: Beginners / False Beginners AIMS: To ask and answer personal questions, e.g. Have you got any brothers or sisters? How old is your brother? Nouns plural forms SKILLS: Listening, writing, speaking ASSUMPTIONS: Students know some vocabulary concerning family members and can ask simple personal questions, e.g. Where do you live? ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS: Some students may have problems with listening at first but teacher can play the tape twice 1. HOMEWORK AND REGISTER: (5 min) 2. A SHORT TEST: vocabulary concerning members of the family. Handout 1. Students are asked to complete some sentences, e.g. My mother s sister is my. (5 min.) 3. BRAINSTIRMING: Pair-work. Students are supposed to write down as many personal questions as they can think of. The winner is the pair that has the most questions. (3 min.) 1
4. PRESENTATION: Teacher introduces questions: Are you married?, Have you got any brothers or sisters?. Marker sentences on the black-board. Pronunciation. (2 min.) 5. LISTENING: Handout 2. Students listen to a short dialogue and follow it in their books. Then they read the questions and answer aloud chorally and individually. After that they listen to similar dialogues and complete the chart with ticks and crosses. (10 min.) 6. SPEAKING: Teacher collects the pictures students brought, mixes them up and gives them out (each student takes one picture).they are asked to find the owner of the picture by asking questions like: Have you got a sister?, How old is she?, etc. Then they tell the class what they know about their friend s family. (10 min.) 7. SPEAKING: 7 Families Game. Handout 3. Teacher tells students that the object of the game is for everyone to find the other members of their family. (7 min.) 8. If there are over 25 students in the class, the game may be played in two groups. There are seven families described on the cards: 1. John, Mary, Peter and Jill (Bristol) 2. John, Mary, Peter and Jill (Newcastle) 3. Steve and Mary (aged23) 4. Steve and Mary (aged25) 5. Steve, Anne, Tom, Pat and Robert (Newcastle) 6. Steve, Anne, Tom, Pat and Robert (Bristol) 7. John, Anne and Peter Copy one card for every student in the class, but make sure that the total adds up to a number of complete families. Give out the cards to the students and allow a little time for them to familiarize themselves with the details on the cards. The object of the game is for everyone to find the other members of their family. To do this they must move around the room, asking questions to identify the other members of the family. 3
