When I look at everything with the eyes of faith, no two hours are alike, and the dullness and monotony disappear. The grace which is given me in this hour will not be repeated in the next. It may be given me again, but it will not be the same grace. Time goes on, never to return again. Whatever is enclosed in it will never change; it seals with a seal for eternity. 294. + Once the Lord said to me: Act like a beggar who does not back away when he gets more alms [than he asked for], but offers thanks the more fervently. You too, should not back away and say that you are not worthy of receiving greater graces when I give them to you. I know you are unworthy, but rejoice all the more and take as many treasures from My Heart as you can carry, for then you will please Me more. And I will tell you one more thing take these graces not only for yourself, but also for others; that is, encourage the souls with whom you come in contact to trust in My infinite mercy. Będzie mi dana w godzinie drugiej, ale już nie ta sama. Czas przechodzi, a nigdy nie wraca. Tą księgą jest męka Twoja dla mnie z miłości podjęta. Z tej księgi nauczyłam się, jak kochać Boga i dusze. W tej księdze są zawarte dla nas skarby nieprzebrane. O Jezu, jak mało dusz Ciebie rozumie w Twoim męczeństwie miłości. O, jak wielki jest ogień najczystszej miłości, który płonie w Twym Najświętszym Sercu. Szczęśliwa dusza, która zrozumiała miłość Serca Jezusowego. 342 Cierpienie jest skarbem największym na ziemi - oczyszcza duszę. W cierpieniu poznajemy, kto jest dla nas prawdziwym przyjacielem. Prawdziwą miłość mierzy się termometrem cierpień. 415 Sobota. W czasie nieszporów ujrzałam Pana Jezusa jaśniejącego jako słońce, w szacie jasnej - i rzekł do mnie: Niech się raduje serce twoje. I zalała mnie radość wielka, i przenikła na wskroś obecność Boża, która jest skarbem niewypowiedzianym dla duszy.
18 TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME APOSTOLSTWO ŻYWEGO RÓŻAŃCA AUGUST 4 TH, 2018 LIVING ROSARY APOSTOLATE Apostolstwo Żywego Różańca składa się z grup 20 osobowych tworzących tzw. Róże Różańcowe. Osoba należąca do danej Róży codziennie przez miesiąc, modląc się na różańcu, rozważa jedną, wcześniej wyznaczoną tajemnicę różańca w intencjach: parafialnej oraz papieskiej (ogólna i misyjna). Po miesiącu (w pierwszą niedzielę każdego miesiąca) następuje zmiana tajemnicy różańcowej na następną oraz intencji papieskiej. Dzięki temu dwadzieścia osób tworzących Różę codziennie rozważa wszystkie tajemnice różańca świętego. Jest to jakby wieniec różany składany u stóp Królowej. Bardzo istotne jest to, że wszyscy członkowie Róży modlą się w tej samej intencji, która jest również zmieniana co miesiąc. Intencje żywego różańca na Sierpień Papieska intencja ewangelizacyjna: Aby rodziny przez życie modlitwy i miłości stawały się coraz bardziej szkołami wzrastania w człowieczeństwie. Intencje parafialne/ lokalne: (podawana co miesiąc przez Kapłana prowadzącego Zmiankę Różańcową). 1. O rozwój naszego sanktuarium i budynku szkolnego. 2. Za wszystkich podróżujących o bezpieczne dotarcie do celu. 3. Za dzieci i młodzież o bezpieczne i pobożne przeżywanie wakacji 4. Za wszystkich pielgrzymujących do miejsc maryjnych o wymodlenie potrzebnych łask. 5. O powodzenie naszego festynu. 6. Za wszystkich chorych członków żywego różańca. 7. Za wszytskich zmarłych członków żywego różańca i zmarłych z naszych rodzin. 8. Za uzależnionych o dar uzdrowienia, nawrócenie i przemianę serc. The Living Rosary is a group of 20 people who commit to pray and meditate on One Mystery of the Holy Rosary every day for a month. Each member is assigned a different decade from which to start. Together, they pray the entire rosary united in their prayer intentions. Every First Sunday of the month, each member of the Group will start on the next Mystery. The purpose of the Living Rosary - appease the wrath of God on the sinful world through the intercession of the Mother of God; pray for God`s blessing for the Church and evangelization; and spreading the faith, to restore and strengthen faith in the hearts of the people and sustain the conversion of sinners. The intentions of a Living Rosary for the month of August The Pope s monthly intention - The intention of evangelization: That families, through their life of prayer and love, become ever more clearly "schools of true human growth. Parish/ Local intentions: (given every month by the priest leading the Living Rosary Group). 1. For the development of our sanctuary and school building. 2. For all travelers for safe access to their destination. 3. For children and young people for a safe and pious holiday experience. 4. For all pilgrims to Marian places for the prayers of the necessary favors. 5. For the success of our Fest. 6. For all ill members of a living rosary. 7. Saint John Paul II Shrine of Divine Mercy 28 St. Peter Street Salem, MA 01970 THE NEW ALTAR and IMPROVEMENTS IN OUR SHRINE Plans are underway for the new altar at our shrine. The Shrine has been blessed by the financial support from many donors. An amount of $60,000 has been raised to cover the cost of the altar. We also received a donation to cover the cost of the two images on either side of the altar. Currently the altar is being constructed in Poland and it will be sent here by ship. There s also an HVAC system in our plans to make the upper church more comfortable and also to fight with moisture in the upper church. We are also thinking about an elevator/lift to make our upper church available for everyone where the main altar with all the relics will be installed. We want it to be available for everyone so the next step is to make handicap bathrooms accessible. In the meantime, there is work to be done in preparation for the new altar. The masonry outside the church has been repaired as well as several small roof leaks. New gutters have been installed on the rectory. The inside walls behind the altar have been sealed and painted. The presbytery will have to be painted before the altar is installed. These repairs and renovations are costly and we need to raise funds for this purpose. You may also notice new insulated windows in the assembly room and the upper sacristy. These are a great improvement which will save on heating and cooling costs. There is also new fencing in front of the church. We are also in the process of looking to reopen our school building. This is a daunting task as the building needs major renovations. There are many men in the shrine community who have offered their time and skills to complete these projects. We would only have to pay for materials. In order to have heat and water in the school the pipes need to be repaired. The Archdiocese will cover this cost through insurance; however, we must have the asbestos covering the pipes removed. Asbestos removal is also necessary on the boiler and in the cafeteria. The second collections are presently held for this reason. I am grateful to those who, through spiritual and physical help, engage in the development of our church and school buildings. We wish to have the shrine attract many people who will find spiritual fulfillment and become disciples sharing the word of Christ to others.
