From the desk of the Pastor. Each Sunday of the year reminds us of that first and unique Sunday when the Lord rose from the dead. Today, more than any other Sunday, the Church invites us to remember this day, blessed among all days, the day that saw Jesus of Nazareth rise to eternal life, Jesus the God-man who redeemed us from damnation with his bloody sacrifice offered once and for all on the Cross of Calvary. Today, eight days after Easter, we continue to celebrate the victory of Christ over death, over eternal death!...god came to save what was lost: through his great love, through his immense mercy, the Lord Jesus wanted to carry out the Will of his Father and to open up to us, through his death and resurrection, the way to Heaven. Jesus suffered his Passion to save us, we who were lost because of our sins.it is eight days after Easter: it is the octave of the Resurrection. Today is Mercy Sunday. Thomas is the sign of this divine mercy, which is unequaled, immense, overflowing, unspeakable. Thomas saw the Lord and he needed to see him to believe in his resurrection. We, today, in the year 2007 of the Christian era, we have not seen the risen Jesus, and yet we believe in him! In any event, Jesus is in Heaven: we have no choice but to believe without seeing. I choć Chrystus zwraca się bezpośrednio do swoich uczniów, warto sobie zadać pytanie, na ile każdy z nas czuje się odpowiedzialny za zwiastowanie tajemnicy pojednania, odpuszczenia grzechów, które ma swoje korzenie w miłosierdziu Ojca. Bo to przecież On posyła na świat swego Syna, abyśmy życie mieli dzięki Niemu. Ks. Tomás es el signo de esta misericordia divina, que es singular, inmensa, desbordante, inenarrable. Tomás vio al Señor y necesitó ver para creer en su resurrección. Nosotros, hoy en día, no hemos visto a Jesús resucitado, y no obstante, creemos en El! De cualquier manera, Jesús está en el Cielo: no hay solución mas que creer sin haber visto. Es claro. Reflections from Fr. Emil TELL THE WORLD ABOUT MY MERCY AND MY LOVE - SAYS THE LORD TO ST. FAUSTINA Tell the world about My mercy and My love. The flames of mercy are burning me. I desire to pour them out upon human souls. Oh, what pain they cause Me when they do not want to accept them! Do whatever is within your power to spread devotion to My mercy. I will make up for what you lack. Tell aching mankind to snuggle close to My merciful Heart, and I will fill it with peace. Tell all people, that I am Love and Mercy itself. When a soul approaches Me with trust, I fill it with such an abundance of graces that it cannot contain them within itself, but radiates them to other souls. Souls who spread the honor of My Mercy I shield through their entire lives as a tender mother her infant, and at the hour of death I will not be a Judge for them, but the Merciful Savior. At that last hour, a soul has nothing with which to defend itself except My mercy. Happy is the soul that during its lifetime immersed itself in the Fountain of Mercy, because justice will have no hold on it. Everything that exists is enclosed in the bowels of My mercy, more deeply than an infant in its mother's womb. How painfully distrust of my goodness wounds Me! O jaki mi ból sprawiają, kiedy ich przyjąć nie chcą.czyń co jest w twojej mocy w sprawie rozszerzenia czci miłosierdzia mojego, ja dopełnię, czego ci nie dostawa. Powiedz zbolałej ludzkości, niech się przytuli do miłosiernego serca mojego, a ja ich napełnię pokojem. Powiedz,że ja jestem miłością i miłosierdziem samym. Kiedy dusza zbliża się do mnie z ufnością, napełniam ją takim ogromem łaski, że sama w sowbie tej łaski pomieścić nie może, ale promieniuje na inne dusze. Dusze, które szerzą cześć miłosierdzia mojego, osłaniam je przez życie całe, jak czuła matka swe niemowle, a w godzinę śmierci nie będę im Sędzią, ale miłosiernym Zbawicielem. W tej ostatniej godzinie nic dusza nie ma na swą obronę, prócz miłosierdzia mojego; szczęśliwa dusza, kóra przez życie zanurzała się w zdroju miłosierdzia, bo nie dosięgnie jej sprawiedliwość. Wszystko co istnieje, jest zawarte we wnętrznościach mojego miłosierdzia głębiej niż niemowlę w łonie matki. Jak boleśnie rani mnie niedowierzanie mojej dobroci. Me queman las llamas de la misericordia, deseo derramarlas sobre las almas de los hombres. Oh, que dolor Me dan cuando no quieren aceptarlas. Has lo que este en tu poder para difundir la devocion a Mi misericordia. Yo suplire lo que te falta. Dile a la humanidad doliente que se abrace a Mi Corazon misericordioso y Yo la llenare de paz. Di, que soy el Amor y la Misericordia Misma. Cuando un alma se acerca a Mi con confianza, la colmo con tal abundancia de gracias que ella no puede contenerlas en si misma, sino que las irradia sobre otras almas. A las almas que propagan la devocion a Mi misericordia, las protejo durante toda su vida como una madre carinosa protege a su ninomrecien nacido y a la hora de la muerte no sere para ellas Juez sino Salvador misericordioso. En esta ultima hora el alma no tiene nada en su defensa fuera de Mi misericordia. Feliz el alma que durante la vida se ha sumergido en la Fuente de la Misericordia, porquenno la alcanzara la justicia. Todo lo que existe esta encerrado en las entanas de Mi misericordia mas profundamente que un nino en el seno de la madre. Cuan dolorosamente Me hiere la desconfianza en Mi bondad.
