General information The Research Project: The Financial Law towards Challenges of the XXI century is a continuation and development of the Project with the same name from the years 2009-2017. This project was an object of great interest and was warmly accepted by scientific community associated with the financial law and economics in Poland, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine and Russia. Leaders of the Project is a Center for Local Government Law and Local Financial Law in cooperation with Department of Financial Law of Gdansk University. The idea of this Research Project is to have a transparent scientific outcome for the idea of knowledge transfer: from research to policy and practice. We realize this project also through a cooperation with the Regional Chamber of Audit in Gdansk. The proposed Project topics include issues of financial law and public finance, local government financial law, tax law, insurance law, law of financial market and international financial law. Due to the nature of the research project, it is necessary to develop in your papers proposals de lege lata and (or) de lege ferenda relating to your research, in the context of the financial law challenges of the twenty-first century. The papers of the conference participants in English will be published as a collection of papers (Conference proceedings), which will be submitted to the Web of Science database. Presentation of the paper at the conference is possible in one of the conference languages with a multimedia (PowerPoint) presentation in English. Conference languages: English, Czech, Polish, Russian, Slovak.
Cost of participation in the project (conference fee) Conference fee for research workers* taking an active part in the project ** (prepared a research or publication) amounts 490 EURO (in case of double cabin and hotel double room) or 580 EURO (in case of single cabin and hotel single room). Conference fee for other participants amounts 537 EURO (in case of double cabin) The fee includes access to the conference session, and conference materials (such as program booklet, printed book of papers), accommodation as well as lunches, coffee breaks and evening banquet, touristic program. Please note that participants who need visa for journeys to Sweden and/or Poland will be ask to provide for such on own costs.
