1 Thursday Notes January 5, 2017 Happy New Year to all our St. Constance School families! All are invited to start their day by joining us at the regular 8:00 a.m. Mass next Wednesday, January 11, On behalf of the non-homeroom Faculty and Staff, I would like to extend our sincerest thanks and gratitude to everyone for their generosity and thoughtfulness at Christmastime. We would also like to express our sincerest thanks for all the delicious treats shared by so many of you. They were enjoyed by all. We are grateful to Mrs. Morioka for the lovely floral arrangements donated to us for the annual Christmas Show and to the Kolbe School of Polish Language for the beautiful decorations. They enhanced the stage beautifully for our Christmas Show! In addition, I would like to express our thanks to the Home and School Association for their generous Christmas gifts for the faculty and staff. We are truly grateful! All are invited to our annual Science Fair viewing and Awards Presentation on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in Borowczyk Hall. All guests are asked to please enter via the Ainslie Street doors. As we move into the 2 nd part of the school year, we need to start planning for the academic year. Please tell your family, friends, neighbors and colleagues who have children entering Preschool-Grade 8 in the Fall of 2017, that St. Constance School is hosting an Open House on Sunday, January 29 th following the 10:30 a.m. Mass until 1:00 p.m. In addition, please join us for our popular Literature Fair, Social Studies Expo, Health Fair, and Science Project displays between the hours of 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. As tax season is approaching, this is to remind you that the school does not provide your School Tax Credit Form. Please plan accordingly.

2 This is an early notice that 8 th Grade Graduation pictures will be taken on Tuesday, January 31, Students in 8 th grade have an approved out of uniform day. Students in all other grades are required to be in their regular school uniform. Spring pictures will be taken on Tuesday, February 7, Please be advised that the FACTS Financial Aid link is now open for any 2017/2018 applications on our school website as of January 1, 2017 through April 15, Please note that this window of opportunity has been moved up significantly. Unfortunately, no extensions will be given. Save the date and join us for the very popular Family Valentine s Day Dinner Dance on Saturday, February 11, Enclosed in your child s folder, please find a copy of both English/Polish letters requesting donations for this upcoming event. I ask that you please share these letters with businesses that you frequent regularly on the School Board s behalf. Please feel free to make additional copies as needed. These t-shirts are an annual item that is offered as a substitute for the gym shirts. The shirt is designed by one of our own students and is printed on athletic grey quality shirts. Throughout its one hundred year existence, the school has endeavored to provide our students with a quality Catholic education, to help them grow spiritually, academically, and socially and to become thoughtful and courteous neighbors in the community. As a local business partner within our community, the members of the St. Constance School Board and our school principal, Eva Panczyk, cordially invite you to celebrate with us. We have two major events planned: Valentines Family Dinner Dance, on February 11 th, The all-ages event will have a catered dinner, dessert bar, dancing, activities for the children, a prize raffle and a Grand Raffle with 3 prizes totaling $3,250 cash. 100 Year Anniversary Mass and Gala, on May 6, Will include a 100 th anniversary Mass and Alumni Open House. A dinner / dance with cash bar and music provided by The Revolutionary Swing Orchestra will follow. We hope that you can also support our events with a monetary sponsorship donation. We believe that supporting the school is an investment in St. Constance and its future. A generous donation of $250 or more will really help defray costs. Of course, whatever amount is comfortable for you is also appreciated. With your support we will be able to keep an outstanding education affordable to families. If you are unable to sponsor our 100 th anniversary events, may we suggest a donation to our prize raffles? Donations of gift cards, merchandise, or gift certificates for goods or services are always popular, and are a great low-cost way for you to generate interest and awareness for your business. Św Konstancji obchodzi Jubileusz 100-lecia swojej działalności. Od 100 lat nasza szkoła zapewnia swoim wychowankom wysoki poziom wykształcenia i formacji w wierze katolickej, tak by wzrastając w sferze duchowej, akademickiej i emocjonalnej stawali się wartościowymi członkami społeczności lokalnej. W trakcie zabawy podany będzie obiad i deser, zaplanowano zabawy dla dzieci, loterię fantową i Wielką Loterię Pienieżną z trzema nagrodami na łączną sumę $3, Wszystko to przy dźwiękach muzyki tanecznej. Msza Św. i uroczysty bankiet odbędzie się dnia 6-go maja, 2017 roku. Uroczystości rozpoczną się Mszą Świętą, po której serdecznie zapraszamy absolwentów w progi naszej szkoły. Dzień zakończy się uroczystym przyjęciem (z możliwością zakupu napojów alkoholowych), a do tańca zagra The Revolutionary Swing Orchestra. Będziemy bardzo wdzięczni za wsparcie finansowe. Każda ofiara z Państwa strony to inwestycja w dalszy rozwój szkoły im. Św Konstancji. Donacja w wysokości $250 pozwoli nam pokryć koszty związane z prowadzeniem szkoły. Każda, nawet najmniejsza wpłata spotka się z naszą wdziecznością. Razem z Państwem będziemy mogli zapewnić uczniom naszej szkoły doskonałą edukację po przystępnej cenie. Jeśli tym razem nie jesteście Państwo w stanie zostać sponsorem uroczystości 100-lecia szkoły, prosimy o donacje w formie fantów na loterię.
