based on: requirements of standards and technical approvals quality criteria of the Building Research Institute authorising for marking the product with the quality mark Q-ITB ecological criteria of the Building Research Institute authorising for marking the product with the ecological mark EKO-ITB acoustic criteria of the Building Research Institute authorising for marking the product with the acoustics mark A-ITB or the acoustic quality mark AQ-IT break-in resistance criteria of the Building Research Institute authorising for marking the product with the break-in resistance mark WQ-ITB thermal criteria of the Building Research Institute authorising for marking the product with the thermal mark C-ITB or the thermal quality mark CQ-ITB. As a result of the cooperation and the successful audit unit, the Building Research Institute passed accreditation procedure and was placed on the list of entities accredited by the UAE Civil Defence, thereby obtaining permission for testing and certification of construction products related to fire safety on the market of the United Arab Emirates.
