There were: Gocławskie Lake, Powsinkowskie Lake and Wilanowskie Lake. The inventory of Odonata was conducted from May to October 2010. In overall, 24 species of Odonata were recorded. Most of them are considered to be common or very common in Poland. It was observed that the less surroundings of the lake were altered by human the more dragonflies from Siberian and West Siberian faunal elements were recorded. Due to the fact that researches were conducted only on three lakes this observations do not authorize us to state general conclusions about influence of urbanization on species assemblage of dragonflies. Banacha 12/16, 90-237 Łódź; e-mail: tonczyk.grzegorz@gmail.com Coenagrion armatum is a Siberian species whose south-western boundary of its distribution area goes through Poland. Formerly, it passed through the western part of the country. In the last 30-40 years it moped back ca. 300 km due to climatic and anthropogenic environ-mental changes. Currently, it runs through eastern regions its putative form is shown on Fig. 1. The authors give five new sites of the species (Fig. 1). Breeding populations are prob-ably at sites 1-3 (good habitat conditions, usually the large numbers of imagines) and less likely at site 5 (a water body partially dries out). In Puławy (site 4) a single imago was record-ed in an unusual environment (a river slope), however, the complexes of water bodies in the valleys of the River Kurówka and Wisła are located nearby. The sites 4 and 5 are the first known from over 10 years in Poland which are located to the west of 22 N. They confirm the hypothesis of BERNARD et al. (2009) about the existence of scattered relict populations outside this line. Probably there are more of them but a short and early flight period of C. armatum is the cause of its overlooking in faunistic studies. Nevertheless, the sites 1-3 are important because they confirm
the form of the current species distribution area which was determined approximately due to the lack of precise data. The authors suggest the evaluation program as well as passive and active protection of C. armatum. It would be particularly important due to the regress and strong threats of the species in the neighbouring countries of Poland from the west and south Poland is an important refugium of this species in Central Europe. Akademicka 19, 20-033 Lublin One hunting female of Anax ephippiger was recorded on June 3, 2011, in a xerothermic meadow near the Lake Perty in Kleszczówek in NW Poland (54 16 40 N, 22 53 50 E). It is the northernmost record of the species in Poland so far. The area of studies is probably situated within the migrating route of the species whose migrations reach Latvia in this part of Europe. The recorded specimen belonged to the first generation, no data on reproduction and development of the second generation is available. Key Words. Pierwsze stwierdzenia kilku gatunków waŝek (Odonata) w Narwiańskim Parku Narodowym João MATOS DA COSTA Narwiański Park Narodowy, Kurowo 10, 18-204 Kobylin Borzymy; e-mail: joao.mcosta@npn.pl During my second year of dragonflie s (Odonata) studies, I documented for the first time Leucorrhinia species in the Narew National Park; those were the L. dubia, the L. rubicunda and the L. pectoralis. With these new records, the number of Odonata species in the NNP increases to 47 species, representing 64% of the Polish Odonata fauna. Besides that, this year I registered for the first time 13 species that I did not in the previous year, until now I observed 77% of the documented NNP Odonata fauna. Key Words. Strony / Pages: 52-53 Ponowne stwierdzenia Onychogomphus forcipatus (LINNAEUS, 1758) w izolowanej wyspie areału na Pojezierzu Gnieźnieńskim (Polska środkowozachodnia). Rediscovery of Onychogomphus forcipatus (LINNAEUS, 1758) in an isolated distribution island within the Gnieźnieńskie Lakeland (centralwestern Poland) Przemysław śurawlew Kwileń 67a, 63-313 Chocz, e-mail: grusleon@gmail.com On July 8, 2010 and 9 VII 2011 in Przybrodzin by Lake Powidzkie (UTM: XU91; 52 25 45 N, 17 55 47 E) a male and a female of Onychogomphus forcipatus were recoded respectively. More than 30 years ago on nearby Lake Niedzięgiel and Białe, situated at the same UTM square UTM (XU91), the presence of the species was found. All of the discussed lakes are located at the distance more than 100-130 km towards the west, north-west and north of the nearest known sites of the species (BERNARD i in. 2009). Probably the sites from the Gnieźnieńskie Lakeland are disjunctive area of the occurrence of the species, however, the existence of other sites joining them with more densely inhabited area of lake districts can not be excluded. Duration of the distribution island in the Gnieźnieńskie Lakeland confirms the maintenance of the suitable habitat base, especially lakes with good water quality. Key Words. The locality of Sympetrum meridionale (SÉLYS, 1841) (Odonata: Libellulidae) in the Sieradz Basin (Cental Poland) Przemysław śurawlew Kwileń 67a, 63-313 Chocz, e-mail: grusleon@gmail.com On August 12, 2010 during the inspection of ca. 1000-meter long stretch of a ditch situated in meadows (51 43 31 N, 18 38 09 E), extending along the rampart of Jeziorsko reservoir in Proboszczowice (UTM: CC33), at least 20 and 5 of Sympetrum meridionale were found. Confirmed breeding (ducklings) of Bucephala clangula on the same day in this place was also interesting.

First records of Lestes barbarus (FABRICIUS, 1798) and Erythromma viridulum (CHARPENTIER, 1840) (Odonata: Lestidae, Coenagrionidae) in islands Wolin and Uznam Paweł BUCZYŃSKI During observations conducted in August 2011 on Uznam and Wolin islands (north-western Poland), the autochthonic occurrence of Lestes barbarus and Erythromma viridulum was found. L. barbarus was recorded in a sand-excavation in Świnoujście while E. viridulum in a park pond in Świnoujście and a ditch in the bird sanctuary Karsiborska Kępa. These are the first observations of both species in the western part of Polish Baltic coastline. New data confirms the views about the northern boundaries of the area of their occurrence and the role of anthropogenic waters in geographic expansion of thermophilous dragonflies. Key Words.
