Building of Rural Development Resources in Balkan region - No BoRDeR project Project background and aims: The project was based on needs expressed by rural development (RD) networks from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia to enhance their participation in RD and EU approximation processes, using the experience of the partners from Visegrad countries. Main project aim: the members of rural development networks and rural communities in West Balkan area enhance their capacity for planning and implementing initiatives that contribute to the development of rural areas, based on the participation of all three sectors
Building of Rural Development Resources in Balkan region - No BoRDeR project Activities: A1.1 Training of trainers "Animation of local partnerships in rural areas" for representants of WB RD networks, provided by 2 trainers from FAOW A1.2 ToT "Strategic planning in rural areas"; Training will be organized for representants of WB RD networks, provided by one trainer from FAOW, one from the Olomouc Region Association of LAGs and one from Deli Napfeny LAG A1.3 Elaboration, printing and distribution of the manual "Animation of local partnerships in rural areas"; A2.1 Training "Local action groups as territorial development partnership in rural areas"; Training will be provided by one trainer of FAOW, RAO and DNLE for representants ofwb RD networks A2.2 Mentoring programme for WB LAG networks at Visegrad LAGs. This activity also will support networking of LAGs and WB networks. A2.3 Brochure about the experience of LAGs and LAGs initiatives with examples from WB region and VS countries.

A3.2 Development of a web platform for networking support; The web platform will collect information about RD and ensure transfer of knowledge for stakeholders from WB, VSC and EU

R3. lmproved management capacities of the Networks for RD from WB based on the Visegrad countries experience.
