PRODUCT SHEET Scription of DSO-2500 bi-axial solar tracker operation The most recent product marketed by SOLAR TRACKER POLSKA is a bi-axial solar tracker manufactured based on in-house design developed by the Gwalbert Stefański, the company owner. DESCRIPTION Solar tracker is a device, which enables photovoltaic and thermal systems to actually track the most intensive sunlight, and not, like in case of GPRS system, follow its anticipated intensity. Graph comparative energy production WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS? It yields even up-to 60% more solar energy than in case of stationary equipment. HOW DOES THE SOLAR TRACKER WORK? Solar tracker uses the developed differential system and, therefore, it is able to find optimum position even on a very cloudy sky. Liquid flat plate collectors may also be mounted on the solar tracker. Solar tracker DSO-2500 The follow-up system is a very energy-efficient solution - power consumption does not exceed 2 kw per year. Innovative feature of this solution is the fact that it follows the Sun in two planes within a wide range of rotation angles. Rotation angle in E-W and N-S direction amounts to 140 and 80, respectively. Actuators are two electric cylinders each with 50 W of power, supplied by a DC current from a battery pack with rated voltage of 12 V or from a stabilized network feeder (in-house design).
Special bearings guarantee smooth system operation and very long service life. At night, the solar tracker positions itself to the East, anticipating sunrise. Control electronics are arranged in an airtight enclosure made of plastic, which is resistant to severe weather conditions. Steel structure of the solar tracker is designed to resist strong wind and at the same time it is very easy to assemble and dismantle. Equipment may be dismantled to facilitate transportation. Cataphoretic or powder coating of the solar tracker structure guarantees aesthetic appearance and resistance to weather conditions. Trackers are designed to be connected with four, eight or ten photovoltaic modules PV (from 1.0kWp to 3.0kWp). Modules are mounted directly onto the framework using M6 bolts without the need to use expensive moving clamps. The highest manufacturing quality guarantees long service life and operation reliability. Simple design and proven solutions make the solar tracking system very efficient and inexpensive to use.
