I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, [All bow, at the following text ] and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen. 3

Blessing and Dismissal Hail, Holy Queen Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears! Turn, then, O most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. V: Pray for us, O holy Mother of God. R/: That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. Retiring Procession: I Am the Bread of Life Refrain: And I will raise you, up, and I will raise you up, and I will raise you up on the last day. 1. I am the bread of life. You who come to me shall not hunger; and who believe in me shall not thirst. No one can come to me unless the Father beckons. And I will raise 2. The bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world, and if you eat of this bread, you shall live for ever, you shall live for ever. And I will raise 3. Unless you eat of the flesh of the Son of Man and drink of his blood, and drink of his blood, you shall not have life within you. And I will raise 4. I am the Resurrection, I am the life. If you believe in me, even though you die, you shall live forever. And I will raise 5. Yes, Lord, we believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who has come into the world. And I will raise. Our Faith GOD S WORK We are so busy! Most of us have more than one job to do, and we never seem to have enough time. We are workers, volunteers, parents, friends, and most of us are more than one thing at a time. But which of these is the work of God? We seldom view our ordinary work as being the work of God. We may think that we have to be ministers or priests, missionaries or charity workers, engaged full-time in works formally identified as being God s work. But everything we do with a faithful heart and with love for others is God s work. We each have our own role to fill in the world, and many gifts are necessary. We cannot always see the direct connection of our daily work to the plan of God. But we trust and we believe that God leads us to do what is needed, where it is needed. What is God s work? This is the work of God, that you believe in the one he sent (John 6:29). Copyright J. S. Paluch Co. Parish Life Our new piano: We are blessed to have a 1987 Baldwin grand piano in church because of the generosity of a donor who wishes to remain anonymous. The former piano could no longer stay in tune and reached the end of its useful life. The Baldwin piano is in very good condition and will benefit us for a long time. Many thanks and prayers go out to the donor! Summer projects: We have been diligently taking care of the campus; namely providing a deep cleaning for the school and catching up on some general maintenance projects. We will provide a list of these projects in an upcoming bulletin. Religious Education Registration is now open for the 2015-2016 year. If you have a child you would like to enroll in the program, you may pick up registration forms at the Parish Office or on-line at the Saint Thecla website. They should be returned to the Parish Office before the end of May so we can plan for next year. A copy of the Baptism certificate is required when you register. All those wishing to receive a sacrament (First Communion or Confirmation) must be in a program for two years prior to receiving the sacrament. Music Ministry: We encourage students (including high school and college) who play an instrument or have a vocal talent to consider presenting a musical selection at any of the 10 AM Masses. Please contact Aaron Dixon for more information. 773-792-3077 x226 adixon@saintthecla.org Adoration Wednesdays 1-3pm Come and spend time with our Lord Present in the Holy Eucharist. XVIII Niedziela Zwykła Jezus Chleb Życia. Komentarze do liturgii Wstęp do liturgii Przychodzimy do Kościoła, aby sprawować Ucztę Miłości. To On sam jest pokarmem dającym życie wieczne, będące udziałem w niezniszczalnym, doskonałym życiu samego Boga. Anna - katechetka. W imieniu Biskupa Andrzeja Wypycha serdecznie zapraszamy wszystkich Parafian do odwiedzenia strony iternetowej www.catholicleaguepolonia.or g/pl, stworzonej z myślą o Poloni i polskich rodzinach. 13
